River City Resort

Our day was very comfortable. It was convenient to everything. We were just walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The apartment was clean and furnished nicely. the master bed was quite comfortable as well.

Perfect location

Location of this property is perfect, inside was very clean and nice.Outside is in desperate need of landscape and a good cleaning.All in all, we will be staying again

Great place!

The place was clean, perfect ground floor, location, ease of check in/out, and my well-behaved dog was welcome. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the wi-fi was not working, but maintenance promptly fixed it. We could not work the tv, no signal available. Maintenance offered to help the next morning. That’s not much help when you want to wind down at night after a long day. Overall, I would stay again.

Great spot on the river!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location right next to Gruene Hall, restaurants, shops! We stayed in the cold of winter and enjoyed walking down to the river through their easy access. We are ready to go back in the Summer to use the provided tubes. Kitchen was fully equipped and condo was clean with everything we needed! Great dog-friendly site!

Fun Girls Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We do a girls weekend to Wurstfest each year and this year decided to stay at the Village in Gruene. The location was amazing and the condo was the perfect amount of space. The patio was a little worn and the railing had mismatched spindles on the rail (which made it look pretty dated) but otherwise the inside was well-equipped. River City was so easy to work with and we will definitely stay in Gruene from now on for location and ease of travel.

14th annual family getaway

The property is clean & comfortable, within walking distance to all of our points of interest and served it’s need/purpose; however, it is getting harder and harder to plan and enjoy such family trips due to the increase in cost & additional (third party) fees. It’s a great place to getaway to but — after 14 summers of doing so — has gotten well outside of budget and means.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Village at Gruene Unit 103 is conveniently located on the river and within walking distance to Gruene Hall. Parking is readily available, and on our visit, the unit was well stocked with bath linens, utensils, trash bags, coffee, etc. The mattress in the main suite is comfortable, but the bed in one of the guest rooms is in need of replacement. We loved the peacefulness of the back porch and the location. We will be back!

Excellent Trip

We stayed at this property so that we could enjoy Gruene and see a concert at Gruen Hall. The property location was excellent and the views were great! I wish we could have stayed longer.
