Amazing Stay!!

We rented the Monticello cabin with our adult children and in-laws who were visiting from Germany. The cabin was spectacular!! The accommodations were top-notch and the views were spectacular. We felt secluded, yet were able to get to town and the park to explore in minutes. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend Monticello for your families next special getaway...

Great Place for multiple couples

Weekend reunion with 2 other couples. Great place for that. Plenty of room, great kitchen to cook in, the outside areas were fabulous. Spent the mornings watching the sun come up and rocking in the chairs with the evenings by the fire pit drinking wine and enjoying each others company.

Starting off the New Year

We took our kids and grandkids to Estes Park so they could see snow! The house was well-appointed, and in fact, looked better than reflected in the pictures. We had plenty of space to accommodate the group. Due to the young ages of the grandkids (some of whom required naps), we spent quite a bit of time at the property in front of the fireplace as we played games and colored! The property management firm communicated very well and responded quickly to questions or requests.

Wish we could have been there longer

Very, very, nice place. Very close to town, far enough to be out of the way and high enough to enjoy the scenery below. Everything inside the home was nice and well maintained. Lots of room inside and sitting outside overlooking the mountains was fantastic.

Mounticello was absolutely STUNNING. Would highly recommend. The cabin accommodated perfectly for our family of 6. There was an additional room that could have fit a couple extra children. It was perfectly located right outside of Downtown Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin was extremely cozy. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing. Voyager Vacations company was thorough with staying in contact with us to make sure our stay was absolutely perfect. We hope to return again in the future!

Mountain Log Home Gem!

This log home was designed for comfort and relaxation! It is a gem in the area and served as a wonderful home base during our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. The home is private and surrounded by trees and nature on it's three acre property on Prospect Mountain! Our family already looks forward to our next stay at this location!

Beautiful dream log cabin

Our family with three adults and two teenagers enjoyed staying at this picture perfect spacious quality log cabin secluded in trees high overlooking Lake Estes. The cabin is spectacular and the outer deck allowed us to enjoy deer and chipmunks in the area We just needed better directions for finding the cabin the first time since GSP was not helpful. . We would stay there again.

Ideal getaway

Beautiful home, lots of amenities, perfect for grandparents and small grandchildren. So quiet and peaceful and very convenient to Estes and RMNP. We loved every minute. The only downside is the queen bed instead of a king in the Master bedroom.

Fantastic location and beautiful property

We stayed at this property with our party of 8, ages 1 through 70s. I can’t say enough good things about it, honestly. Though definitely off the beaten path, we loved the location and it was easy to find once we arrived the first time. The property was very well-maintained, stocked with the basics, and though only 8-10 minutes from downtown Estes Park, felt like it was a miles away from civilization. We are hoping to plan a return trip in the future. Highly recommended!

Just Some Thoughts

This property was nice, but we felt we shouldn’t have been responsible for keeping the property supplied with toilet paper and paper towels. We thought those should have been included in the price. We also didn’t have enough dish towels and no dish rags. Staying a week was tough without a washer and dryer to do the dish towels and rags. I also feel there should be a rail across the outdoor patio outside the dining, living room area. There was nowhere for the kids to play.except for the patio.

Second Time

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love this home and appreciate all the details thought of by the owners. Great location. Private but just minutes to the shops or the park entrance. I visit from Florida as we don't have mountains or snow, both of which I miss. Certainly enjoyed both this year. No problems at all with the driveway. Many interactions with the deer right down the road from the driveway. If you are looking for a nice place to unwind in a beautiful fully equipped home, look no further. Thank you for the wonderful stay...we will be back again!

A fantastic home and such excellent service!

This is a beautiful property and was perfect for us - 5 adults and 1 child. We had a great time. The log cabin was extraordinary, the views were unbelievable and the setting was perfect. We were surrounded by beautiful forest. We saw elk, deer and a bear with 2 cubs! The gas fire pit was amazing and we used it every night to relax after the day's activities. The bedrooms and bathrooms were set up perfectly for our needs. The outside area and decks made it so enjoyable and easy to spend quality time outside. The interior of the cabin is really good for "communal" time with the kitchen, dining area and great room all open with no walls separating them. All this seclusion and we were less than 10 minutes to town! SkyRun Property Management was incredibly responsive to a couple very small issues we had on arrival. We will be back - for sure! This property will not disappoint! Bob M

Perfect getaway

The pictures on the web don't do it justice! The house is gorgeous. The best part was the outside deck with rocking chairs- the view is amazing, and we all looked forward to morning coffee and night time cocktails:) The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. We loved roasting s'mores (also provided!) outside at the fire pit. We arrived a little early, and they were happy to let us check in early. The driveway is definitely as described- and should be taken seriously. We had the proper vehicle, so it worked out for us- but it's a challenge. The only complaint I would have really has nothing to do with the property itself- the roads are not marked well at all and we drove around for about an hour trying to find the property. The manager called me right back after we gave up & called for directions, so it all worked out. Wonderful property, quiet setting and close to town- we will be back!

Great place for morning coffee!

We loved this cabin for many reasons, and we would consider booking again. The porch truly is a spectacular place to have coffee and watch the sunrise. It's very peaceful and secluded. We were greeted with chipmunks and hummingbirds every morning and could watch the sun rise directly over the mountains. With having 6 teens, the space in the great room was perfect. There was plenty of seating to watch a movie including all 8 of us. The dining table inside and out had plenty of seating as well for meals and games. We never felt crowded. The only drawback was that the room with the twin beds was very tight and they aren't full twins. Our 16 and 15 year old sons hardly fit in the beds. It was pretty snug and they were uncomfortable. They tried sleeping on the couches instead one night. Note that there's no air conditioning which is common for a mountain home. It was hot in the cabin by late afternoon. We explored the closets and did find three fans that we used in the loft, the queen room, and the twins room. Two of the fans were really small and ineffective. I would suggest to the property management to have additional fans (larger) for the other spaces to make things more comfortable. The road to get to the cabin really is steep. Our minivan barely made it each time and we usually opted to use our pickup and keep our van down below which isn't convenient. It would have been impossible in the winter. We appreciated the convenience of the gas fire pit. Very easy. Great place!

Spectacular, we are in love with this property!!

We loved everything about this property. Beautiful property and views! It had the authentic cabin vibe! Has everything you need. Its an awesome location close to everything you need. I was worried about no AC but it was totally fine because its cooler there and you can open the windows. The deck and outdoor chairs and space is just amazing! Spacious inside and outside! All beds were very comfortable. The drive up to the house was a little steep, so if going in winter months, you would definitely stay here again, I've already been recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us!

Mountain oasis

This cabin is better than any of the pictures. So many spots to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.Great beds, grill,kitchen items, etc. The only thing that I wished was explained better was how to get to the property. Once I spoke to a person, it was easy. Don't trust your phone directions until you get off hwy 7 and then research the address.I will stay here again when I return to Estes Park.
