Harbor Hideout is a 430sq ft 2BR Tiny Home that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean on the Quietside of Mount Desert Island. The Tiny Home easily cools down fast with the A/C Units. The unit has a large deck wraped around the unit and it has walking access to the Ocean which shared with the 2 neighboring units on the property. This unit allows for Pets!

-5min to Bass Harbor
-8min to Southwest Harbor
-25min to Acadia National Park [Cadillac Mtn Entrance]
-27min to downtown Bar Harbor

We highly enjoyed our stay! It was a cozy spot to hang out after a long day of exploring. The views were stunning of the coastline/beach. Only suggestion is to update the king bed mattress. Definitely has defined dips on each side. Overall great experience and we’d definitely recommend to others and visit again!

We really enjoyed staying at this cozy cottage. It certainly had it's own charm. The ocean view was so lovely with the beach a short walk away. Accommodations were comfortable--bed was great! Close to town of SW Harbor, great hiking trails and good restaurants. It was nice to be on the quiet side of Acadia and not near "cruise ship tee-shirt shop" craziness of Bar Harbor.

We really enjoyed our stay. I was curious about the size of the place since I knew it was on the smaller ("tiny") size. But honestly, it was fine! Three adults and a dog managed perfectly. We liked being on the quiet side of the island. We spent our days in downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. So it was nice to leave the crowds behind. The location definitely adds to your overall driving (if you're there to do Bar Harbor/Acadia). BUT...the setting was SOOOO worth the extra driving. My goodness...the view, the quiet, just the whole setting was worth every penny I paid. And there's an awesome deck to sit out on. It was hard to leave the property because of that!! And it's just a really short walk to the water's edge and they have Adirondack chairs set up which was really nice. There are other units pretty close and there were people in them while we were there but it didn't impact the peacefulness of the spot for us. We would absolutely return!

Great little house on a wonderful island. The check in was extremely easy. It's not a huge place, but if you're spending a lot of time inside than you're missing the point of this location!

Perfect Location

The location and views were spectacular. Our family of four and our dog were all beyond comfortable in this tiny home. The South West Harbor quiet side, views from the deck and easy access to everything were exactly what we were searching for. Host was easy to contact on first call when checking in which made everything seamless. Thank you.

Spectacular view, cozy cabin in quiet neighborhood

Cabin was very very clean. View was spectacular especially in the morning and evening. Cozy for a family of five and dog, a bit smaller in common areas than expected. Very quiet part of bar harbor but a few great restaurants nearby.

Description is accurate and even undersells it a bit. Easy to find, quiet yet close to town, beautiful views, and plenty of smart space. We drove to eastern part of the island and there was a lot of traffic and crowds. This is peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely return.

Nice, oceanfront Cottage

The views of this cottage make it worthwhile. The cottage itself is quaint and small but the deck is nice and the ocean front is pretty great. Realized as we pulled in, there is a landscaping company that owns property behind the cottage so heard machines now and then which was a little annoying. Noted a weird smell on check in, manager was quick to respond with solution but cracking the windows helped. Overall great place and despite the need for some improvements, the views make it worth it.

Had the best time in Tremont

Perfect seaside cottage for our trip. Loved our time on the island. We hiked, biked, and swam right from the house. Great view of the water from the deck.

Perfect family cottage on the water

The cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults, 3 kids under 6). Close to the park and a perfect location with plenty of room for the kids to run around. We really enjoyed having meals on the deck looking out at the water.

We had a wonderful time at the beach cottage. The view and the deck were amazing. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast each morning looking at the amazing view. We loved exploring the park and the quiet side.
