Wonderful home in beautiful Ocean Lakes! The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and very spacious. Walk to the beach in less than a minute, and rent a golf cart to explore Ocean Lakes! Maria is a wonderful host!

This property was totally accurate with the listing and pictures. We loved the house, and the location was perfect!The host was very quick to respond everytime I messaged her. The only issues during our stay, when we arrived the house was clean and floors were swept, however....the floors hadn't been mopped in apparently a good while, because after walking through the house barefoot, our feet would literally be black. We just wore slippers or socks while in the house. Aside from that, which wasn't a huge deal, we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and pleasant stay. Highly recomend!!!!!

The house was perfect for us. It was well stocked with everything we needed. It was big enough for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped. It was just a short walk (2 minutes) to the beach. You could see the ocean from the decks. There were lots of amenities in the resort it was in to enjoy. The owners were easy to work with. We loved our stay.

Maria was great and very easily available if we had any questions or issues! The house was beautiful and very clean. We stay at Ocean Lakes every year and will definitely stay at one of these properties again!

Perfect !

The house was exactly like the pictures you could walk to the beach and it had everything we needed . Hosts were very quick to reply and the property manager made sure we had what we needed . I would definitely stay in this house again or another of their properties at Oceanlakes .

Thank you for your review. To clarify the dish washer and disposal were working when you arrived and broke towards the end of your stay. We replaced the disposal immediately and found corn husks that were attempted to go through. They should have gone in the trash The dish washer we called for service which they came out right after this guest left. Food also found in the dish washer. We are very grateful for reviews both good and especially when a guest brings up something went wrong. Future guests reading can assume these items were broken when you arrived. Being detailed can clarify things for all is very important We always show up right away to resolve all issues for our guests to make sure your vacation goes smoothly. Some like the dish washer is not always in our hands It’s normal to expect guest to use reasonable care and common sense with most items, when it doesn’t happen we are understanding and work through it. We are glad you had a great week otherwise.

Dear MariaWe wanted to take a moment to thank you for our recent stay at your home at Ocean Lakes.We truly appreciated the opportunity to spend some time there and enjoyed our visit overall.The location and setting made for a relaxing getaway, and we are grateful for your hospitality.There were just a couple of things we wanted to bring to your attention. We did encounter a few roaches inside the house, which we can send you the pictures if you need them. Also, when we went to use the bed upstairs, we noticed some blood on a few of the pillowcases. We ended up washing the pillowcases ourselves before we could use them for the night. The other thing is that the mattresses in two of the rooms upstairs were very uncomfortable and squeaky. We understand that occasional things can happen, especially with a property in a campground setting and we don't want these issues to take away from the positive parts of our stay. We simply wanted to make you aware so they can hopefully be addressed for future guests. Thank you again for having us and for providing a place where we could enjoy some time away with our family We appreciate your hospitality and hope to visit again in the future.Warm regards,Derek and family

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and your family’s time at Ocean Lakes. I would like to clarify that the insects you encountered are palmetto bugs, which are common outdoors in our coastal environment, rather than an indoor roach infestation. They can occasionally enter when doors are left open. The home is professionally treated on a regular basis, which is why they will typically die after entering the home. Regarding the pillowcases, stained linens are certainly not our standard. As explained during your stay, the discoloration was not blood but an occasional rust-colored stain caused by our laundry equipment. Our cleaners are normally very good at catching and replacing affected linens, and I apologize that these were missed. Thank you also for mentioning the mattresses and squeaking beds. We will have them checked and address anything that needs attention.We appreciate your feedback and are happy you enjoyed your stay overall. We would be glad to welcome your family back.

Myrtle Beach Vacation

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was in a fantastic location, literally a few houses down from the beach! House was very clean and large enough to accommodate 9 people, both adults and children. Also had everything you would need, whether for cooking and cleaning. Maria was very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything and also checked in to see how our stay was going. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Beautiful home steps from the beach!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time staying at this home during our visit to the Myrtle beach area! The home is beautifully decorated, with lots of space including 4 full bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to prep meals for a large family or group. The outside wraparound deck with lots of seating was perfect for our family dinners not to mention the beautiful view of the ocean. This house is steps from the beach - another bonus! It was easy to communicate with the property manager who was so accommodating. A great stay at this luxurious home in a great location within the Ocean Lakes resort

Wonderful Ocean Lakes property close to the beach

We stayed for a week in this property, and it was wonderful! We have stayed at several properties at Ocean Lakes, and I think this house is our new favorite. The photos are accurate. The property was well-suited for our family (4 adults + 3 kids). We especially loved the large kitchen. The location is great. It is on the far side of Ocean Lakes near Surfside Beach. It was a quick walk to the beach, and we rented a golf cart from Ocean Lakes to cruise to the pool and other Ocean Lakes amenities. The house was very clean. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and straightforward. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Family Fall Break

We celebrate my father-in-laws birthday at Ocean Lakes every year. We always rent a house and have a wonderful time. Our time here was wonderful. The house was spotless upon arrival and was appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The only complaints that we have are 1) the living room furniture was outdated and didn't accomodate our entire crew, so watching a movie at night was difficult. 2) the lack of comfortable outdoor seating was a shame. 3) we had to buy an eggcrate topper for the downstairs bed. These aren't deal breakers but would have elevated our experience, especially since the house was so nice. It was just odd not to have those things in such a wonderful home. Overall, it was great and communication with the host was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying there.
