Our stay was amazing. Kit’s home and property have everything you could hope for, and the attention to detail was above and beyond - from the kitchen appliances to the beautiful décor to the interior lighting to the hammocks out back - you can tell the space was designed with love and creativity. One evening, the TV remote batteries died on us and I thought “Oh no, we have to go to the store,” but no. We immediately found spare batteries in the pantry. Small touches like this demonstrate that Kit genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. My girlfriend and I agreed it was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at.

The place was fantastic! Up on the high desert plateau and off a dirt road with views of Joshua trees all around. Decor was superb. The house was so comfortable to spend time in and the hot tub vista was unbeatable. We could not have asked for more!

Amazing property that feels remote and private. Our family enjoyed the cowboy pool, jacuzzi and hammocks. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had everything you could need. AC blew cold and a large bag of ice provided was perfect for the cooler. It was close to Joshua Tree and town for the farmers market, restaurants and shopping. Beyond that the decor and design of the interior and exterior is a vibe!

Beautiful property - so serene and well appointed. Had a wonderful time enjoying the hot tub and hammocks for stargazing. Look forward to staying here again soon!!

There’s something magical about Joshua Tree! Their fantastic house and sprawling property enhanced our experience tenfold. We especially enjoyed the hot tub while watching a spectacular sunset. The immaculate home was comfortable, nicely decorated and well stocked with all the essential supplies making our trip quite a memorable stay. Hope to return soon

We had a wonderful stay here. Kit was an amazing host and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. I really enjoyed cooking up pancakes on the vintage stove, the same model I had years ago when my kids were little! Loved all the entertaining areas outside Sipping our morning coffee and watching the birds and admiring the views. We'll be back again!

Great experience

We booked last minute to run the Joshua Tree half marathon, the spa and cowboy pool came in clutch after the race. The house was perfect form our group of 4. We will be back!

Gorgeous!

Magical! Spacious and bright with an adorable kitchen and tons of indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing. Saw lots of cute critters, including quail and a baby bunny and lizards. So enjoyed the hot tub and hammocks! Excellent stargazing and beautiful sunsets.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay at the El Dorado. All the amenities were stocked. From design to function, every choice was thoughtful. We needed nothing, and the setting for every scene was beautiful, surrounded by the desert. Kit was super responsive and nice. The guidebook was incredibly helpful. Would return!

Refreshing and beautiful!

This is my second time staying at this home. So, it pretty much goes without saying, that its wonderful here or I wouldn't have returned for another stay. Kit is great to communicate with and the whole property is peaceful and comfortable. I accidentally left a device thete, and Kit is kingly arranging to ship it back to me. Definitely, if going for hikes, theres plenty of places nearby.

A true oasis!

This property is everything If you're looking for rest, peace, enjoying nature, and super cute and cozy!!! Two of my daughter's and I stayed here for 4 days....we all loved it! The decor is perfection...so well done, and at the same time, its super cozy and comfortable. The mattresses are so good, my daughter actually wants to now purchase aTuft and Needle mattress! There's everything you need here on the property, the cowboy pool, the fire pit, the spa...all were enjoyed. Eating out on the patios was so pretty...theres great hiking in the area too! We plan on returning in the Fall. You wont regret staying here, you'll love it!

Home Away From Home

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a El Dorado Oasis, a beautiful Joshua Tree property that truly exceeded our expectations. Traveling as a family of four, we were delighted to find that every aspect of the home was thoughtfully designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. The quality of the bedding truly set the tone for a relaxing vacation, and everyone woke up feeling refreshed and ready for a day of adventure. The living area provided ample space for our family to gather, share meals, and spend quality time together, while still offering cozy nooks where everyone could retreat for some personal downtime. Multiple bedrooms were well-appointed and strategically positioned to ensure that privacy was maintained without sacrificing a sense of togetherness. This balance made the property feel like a true home away from home. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property! We will be back again soon.

Our week spent at the El Dorado Oasis was perfect! It provided an easy, comfortable home base for our daily visits to Joshua Tree National Park. It added extra delightful experiences to our vacation time, including the comfy hot tub and multiple outdoor seating areas with stunning views of spectacular sunsets and the starlit night sky. We were able to “eat in” thanks to the fully equipped kitchen, the beds were super comfortable, the décor and landscaping was uniquely delightful. Communication with Kit was always timely and supportive, and we felt very welcomed. Even the smallest touches, including amenities for dogs (and we didn’t bring one!) made us feel at home. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, and the El Dorado is now top-of-list. We highly recommend it and would happily return.

Beautiful Home

We loved the home, updated and modern with a mid-century boho vibe, as the photos show. Check In and Check Out was a breeze, the location was perfect (far enough from town but close enough to drive into when we needed to), and the yard with the jacuzzi and hammocks were perfect! We also LOVED all of the little details that Andrew and Ryan had put into the space. Would recommend and definitely stay again!
