This is a lovely furnished private guest suite with its own private entry and alarm. It comes fully furnished with Art Deco Antiques and fully stocked kitchenette with apartment sized refrigerator, sink, gas stove, oven and views to harbor, mountains and ocean. The historic neighborhood is a uniquely charming, friendly and close-knit environment. The house sits across from a tranquil historic landmark park whose huge trees and lush environment spill over gracing the views as "borrowed landscape". There are lovely views of the mountains, ocean and harbor from the a large furnished Terrace and from the kitchen window too. There is a shared BBQ area adjacent to the terrace with a grill, seating and serving/bar table.
This 1920's home abounds. The house has been completely upgraded and renovated with new electrical/plumbing/central a/c and heating, whole house water filtration for modern comforts. Long time neighbors, quiet and serene. Citrus trees, flowers and lovely lush private walled-in corner lot.
The Historic park across the street, designed by the famous Olmsted Company who designed Central Park in NYC, is a 10 acre treasure with waterfall, stream, pools, ducks, heron, turtles and full of shady grand 100 year old trees, Queen palm Allee and a network of walking paths through the hills and valley of the gem of a place called one of the top 10 parks and neighborhoods in Los Angeles- Vista del Oro is steeped in history, serenity and beauty.
This property is just 5 minutes to the freeway entry that connects you to all of Los Angeles and Orange County but there is no noise and the quiet and tranquility of this place make you feel worlds away. In addition, San Pedro and the Palos Verdes Peninsula boast huge preserved open spaces and beach, tidepool access, riding trails, hiking trails just 5 minutes away as well. In addition, there are several world class golf courses, spas and the Terranea Resort just 5-15 minutes away along the Palos Verdes Drive South- one of the world's most beautiful drives along the coast of California.
