Uinta - endroit isolé à Brighton Ski Resort avec Hottub

Uinta Lodge est une maison de 1900 SF pratique pour ceux avec des enfants qui veulent revenir à la maison pour le déjeuner ou l'échauffement. Beaucoup le trouvent tellement à l'aise qu'ils ont du mal à revenir sur les pistes. La cuisine entièrement équipée dispose d'un bar pour servir rapidement et une salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 9 pour une atmosphère plus formelle. Le décor procure la sensation de confort dans un cadre de montagne. Avec la plupart des sols recouverts de moquette, on peut facilement mettre les pieds en place. Le salon est ouvert depuis la cuisine et dispose d'une grande cheminée en bois pour ceux qui cherchent l'odeur de pin. Canapés profonds et une grande télévision à écran plat dans la salle familiale sont pourquoi l'extérieur semble moins attrayant pour les enfants et les adultes. Venturing peut simplement signifier un voyage au grand bain à remous sur le pont privé. Il y a aussi beaucoup d'espace extérieur pour jouer et creuser des forts. Le ski est à quelques pas de la route avec accès au Great Western quad lift. Quatre chambres et deux salles de bains sont situées à l'étage principal qui peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 11 (y compris le canapé futon dans la quatrième chambre). Le garage attenant permet un accès facile de l'extérieur pour l'épicerie et l'équipement. Wi-Fi gratuit et laveuse / sécheuse sur place. Great lodge walking distance to great western lift

Super place to go to if you want to be walking distance to Brighton as there are few options like this. Would come again.

The perfect place for a relaxing winter getaway. I don’t ski and I had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and cooking for the boys while they hit the slopes.

Great Stay at Brighton

The property was outstanding. Plenty of room for our three families, location for Brighton was perfect. Communication was outstanding. I definitely recommend this location.

About as close to SISO as you can get at Brighton

Very cozy lodge. Listing as described. If you are going during the snowing season, please please please believe them when they say you need a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with snow tires. The neighborhood is remote and plows simply can't keep up with all the great snow you're going to get at Brighton. Also during the winter, definitely plan on not going back down to the city much once you're up here in the canyon: the canyon road traffic gets very congested each evening. But that's the whole reason you're staying here: to avoid all the traffic getting up here each day and to beat everyone to the slopes each morning. It's great.

The only problem we had was with the oven. It seems like a new style but the are no instructions for operating it. We put food in to warm for a meal we hosted for the wedding party but it automatically turns off and the food was cold. Everything else was good.

Perfect Roomy Winter Cabin!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was better than the photos! Just driving to the cabin was a beautiful experience with almost 20 feet of snow on both sides. The cabin was large and clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was just the right temperature and was cool to relax and watch the snowcats do there thing at night. The property management company was very accommodating and if I could give 10 stars I would. We will absolutely be back and thank you for a great trip!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Uinta for a 9-day ski/snowboard trip with a group of friends. The place was truly awesome. Very roomy, comfortable and greatly situated close to both Brighton and Solitude. Carole and her team were a pleasure to work with and the place was well tended to during our stay, including someone coming to check the hot tub every few days. Our stay couldn't have been better. Just be sure to rent a 4x4 or you may have a little trouble getting stuck coming up the driveway ;-)

The Perfect Snowy Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very impressed by the Uinta cabin! It easily accommodated our large family of 10! The cupboards were well stocked and the kitchen was well laid out to cook and still be part of the family! We spent a lot of time on the deck in the hot tub and cozied around the huge fireplace playing games! The management staff were wonderful and were there to help or bring anything we needed, fortunately for us, we didn’t need anything! The driveway was shoveled and blown daily, making it easily accessible for vehicles! We were beyond impressed and will definitely be back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not bad. A bit dated, but didn't lack for anything. Only complaints are: 1) Nobody plows the long, narrow driveway. The deck is shoveled every day, but the driveway just piles up. 2) The 4th bedroom is actually a walled-in porch. It's warm enough, but not really private. 3) The pump on the hot-tub cycles LOUDLY every hour or so. Probably just old. That porch/bedroom is right next to the tub, so it's a problem.

Spring break ski trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was good location at Brighton. The reason we rented it was because of the ski in/ski out option. The problem is that it wasn’t what we expected. You had to walk a distance which is not clearly marked and need to do black runs to get to the chair lift. Great for experienced skiers but not for beginner/intermediate skiers. The cabin is cozy but spending a little bit on better mattresses, blankets, sheets, pillows, maybe new kitchenware and a new charge to replace the broken one. Also there is a foot massager out for use which shocked my son when trying to use it. Small changes would easily increase my rating to 4.5 stars.

High Altitude Serenity

This is a comfortable cabin in a heavily forested area. We had a few rain showers each day but due to the time of year, the storms built up throughout the morning with brief rain in the afternoon. The cabin is situated within walking distance to the Brighton ski lifts and hiking trails. There is a general store and cafe nearby. They have a few basics... including canned oxygen :) The hot tub is dated and the jets are not overly powerful but the water was crystal clear and the beauty of looking up into mature Aspen trees cannot be beat. The area is very quiet even with how crazy busy the Brighton resort is every weekend. We enjoyed hiking the various trails found nearby. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing and serving meals. A doe and her fawn visited every morning and a family of chipmunks dwells in the rocks directly behind the house. The hosts are great and respond to texts within a few minutes. The large wood pile in the garage has a strong odor but it cannot be sensed in the upstairs main house. There is definitely a summer bug problem this year but we were warned so it wasn't a surprise. We enjoyed our high altitude stay in a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location.

Christmas Break Skiing

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was in a good location for skiing at Brighton. We were able to walk 200-300 yards to the access for the slope. Had to use a neighbors driveway that was posted as no trespassing. Not sure if management has worked this out with the homeowner. Cabin was not in good repair. Several rooms lacked heat and we used space heaters provided. 4th bedroom was a finished porch and access was awkward. Lack of hot water was an issue. We were 6 men so women would have a bigger problem. Overall condition of cabin was rough and it appeared that repairs/construction was ongoing. Not a bad place to stay but for the money much more was expected.

Great Stay at Uinta

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an incredible stay at Uinta over the holidays. My husband and I are SLC locals who ski Brighton, but we brought in our family from out of town and could not have been happier to spend a week in the Brighton Woods! Carole and Sean (maintenance) went out of their way to make us comfortable while we were there, especially impressive considering we stayed over Christmas. Huge props to Sean for arriving every morning to shovel the deck/manage the upkeep around the house in the snow and cold-what a gem! I did leave only 3 stars for 'general condition' as the refrigerator was broken during our stay. Sean provided coolers, but at this price, and with this level of luxury, we expected to have such a major appliance in working order. Carole was very apologetic, and as helpful as she could possibly be, but that needs to be fixed. Otherwise-if you are considering this property-just go for it! You won't be disappointed by the location, the gorgeous interior, the amenities, or the exceptional management. My entire family hasn't stopped talking about how perfect our stay was-we're already hoping to come back in 2019!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids under 6) to Brighton for the kids first ski trip. We loved the resort and this home. It was so spacious and had everything you could ever need. Such a nice bonus to have things such as olive oil, kitchen spices, dish soap, laundry needs, etc. We loved spending our days on the mountain and evenings at this lovely home. The location is perfect, just note worthy hills for little Kids you would need to drive to drive which was no big deal. Thank you again!

The home has comfortable beds, awesome areas for games and spending time together after hitting the slopes. The only issues we had were the snowblower in the garage didn’t function properly and we had a few (3) mice get into our luggage. All in all what a beautiful place to rent for a ski trip at Brighton!

Great for our family gathering

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house worked well for our family gathering. There are a few things that didn't quite meet my expectations. The lighting is very dated and doesn't give off much light. Perhaps that's part of the log cabin charm. The screens didn't fit tightly in the windows so we were fighting off flies. And the smell from the wood pile in the garage was not great. Those items aside, great place, great location, fun time.
