It was very pleasent. The house was super clean and the surrounding area is very beautiful. The gentleman next door was very nice and polite. Would definitely stay here again if were in the area.
The coop was super cozy, warm, and clean. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. So close to some really fun activities and shops. Will for sure visit again!
Check in was very easy, the location is very very low key out in the country. The hostâs were very friendly. Gave us a referral to probably the best BBQ spot Iâve ever been too for dinner, which was only about 10 min down the road. Make sure if you rent this cottage you make a stop at Uncle Bethâs BBQ. Definitely looking forward to going back next year and hopefully more years to come!!
I chose the cozy cabin as a quiet rural stay between my home and destination. Itâs a beautiful and amazingly quiet drive to get there from Columbus, virtually no traffic no matter the time of day. The cabin is tucked away on a gorgeous piece of farmland, with the hosts right there if you need them.
Checking in was super easy, and since it was unusually cool, they checked in to make sure I knew how to turn on the heat if I needed it, and let me know to reach out if I needed anything.
Fully stocked bathroom in case you forget anything, and there were some snacks as well as beverages in the fridge.
I slept great. Cozy bed, plenty of pillows.
I highly recommend the cozy cabin if you are looking to escape city life!
The name Cozy Cabin is perfect for this venue. This is basically a one room cabin. It has a Queen-size, comfortable bed. It has a corner shower that is well maintained. (there is a slight lag for water to heat, but once there the power and heat control was fine) It has a vanity sink and a virtually new toilet that flushes well. There is not a kitchen; however, there is a work area with a nice small microwave, a Keurig coffee and hot chocolate maker including an assortment of coffee and chocolate pods, and other snacks furnished. In another corner there is a very efficient compact refrigerator and small freezer. A nice, sturdy table its in the middle of the cabin with two metal chairs. In this same area there is a couch and two upholstered red rocking chairs. There is plenty of easily controlled lighting in the cabin. The area around the cabin is interesting and there is a sizeable pond on the property that you can access. In addition there is a clean, two person, cast iron outside grill furnished with charcoal. My mate and I are over 70 years of age and we found this to be a great value. This hosts were quite nice and efficient. There are a friendly cats and dogs on the property that we enjoyed very much. The cabin is located in a perfect location to access many interesting historical sites, foods, and wildlife. We certainly enjoyed a stay there.
I recently stayed two nights in the Cozy Cabin and the name correctly describes the property. The Cabin is located behind the host's home which is located in the middle of Ohio farmland. I walked out the first morning and I heard nothing but crickets and birds chirping and the breeze blowing through the cornstalks in the field.
The cabin was neat and very clean and had everything that I needed during my stay. The mini-fridge was stocked with drinks and there were also snacks available. There was no kitchen, but there was a toaster and coffee maker and an assortment of coffee available. The bed was very comfortable to me, the A/C worked great and there was plenty of hot water for the shower as well. I was really impressed with the TV in the Cabin, it had an excellent choice of programming. I was even able to watch my favorite local news broadcast from back home in Georgia.
The Cozy Cabin is remotely located and is 10 to 15 miles from pretty much anything with the exception of a small store or two but I did not find this to be an inconvenience. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay and I will stay there again next year if it is available and I would also recommend this property to anyone who needs a very clean and quiet place to stay. You can tell that the Host takes pride in the property and in making your stay as pleasant as possible.
I am a teacher and enjoy spending my free time hosting guests in our cabin. I love to make people feel welcomed and relaxed. Decorating and making the cabin feel peaceful are my main goals. Iâm always available if needed during your stay.
Everything you need and surrounded by nature. Access to 2 acre pond. Very close to Mad River Mountain, Marmon Valley Farms, Ohio Caverns and Piatt Castles. Great local restaurants and shops in downtown Bellefontaine e only 15 miles away.
