Welcome to The Red Hawk Ridge Retreat in the rolling hills of Champaign County – West Liberty OH. This welcoming restored farmhouse is loaded with character and charm in a rural country setting on almost 3 acres. This home sleeps up to 10 guests. Located right in between Bellefontaine & Urbana, yet easy to get to Columbus or Dayton within 50 mins.
The space
The home features gorgeous hardwood floors/trim, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, an updated galley kitchen –with a Keurig Coffee maker (single serve for pods too), fully stocked for all your cooking needs with a full-size dishwasher, range and refrigerator, 3 seasons room, and a wraparound covered porch – just perfect to sit, sip your coffee and watch the beautiful country sunsets.
For your comfort & enjoyment we have provided Wifi, Smart TV’s (in living room and each bedroom), books, games, outdoor seating, outdoor grill, coffee, tea, salt & pepper, and grilling spices.

Your hosts are very close if you need something or are in a pinch. Quiet hours outdoors are from 10 PM to 7 AM in respect of our neighbors.

Enjoy boating, fishing & swimming at Indian Lake or Kiser Lake, Skiing, tubing, & snowboarding at Mad River Mountain Ski Resort, Canoeing/Kayaking on the cool clear waters of the Mad River with Birch Bark Canoe Livery. Lion’s Park in West Liberty is amazing offering a walking path along the Mad River, Splash Pad, playground & Basketball Court. Bike the Simon Kenton Bike Path. Visit the proclaimed Ohio Caverns, Zane Caverns & the Historic Castle - Mac-A-Cheek (Piatt) Castle. Enjoy a game of recreational disc golf at Mary Rutan Park. Visit Campbell Hill – known as the highest point in Ohio or see the First/Oldest Concrete Street in American. Enjoy tons or gorgeous nature & hiking at Camp Myeerah, John Bryan State Park, or Cedar Bog State Nature Preserve. Take in a Show/Concert/Movie at the historic Holland Theater in Bellefontaine or The Gloria in Urbana. Spend some time golfing at several beautiful courses, Liberty Hills, Cherokee Golf Course, Urbana Country Club or Woodland Golf Course. Feeling like take a scene drive you could arrive at Young’s Dairy for putt putt/animal petting and their awesome Ice Cream or head down south to the Wright Patterson Airforce Base Museum.
