Shipping Container/Marysville-Dublin/golf/pets ok

Unique container home duplex hosted by SUPERHOST. Constructed in 2019, it features 11 shipping container boxes - nine 8x20 foot boxes and 2 8x40 foot boxes. We believe it may be the first shipping container double east of the Mississippi River and perhaps unique to the U.S. at the time. The container home is near historic downtown, Marysville Hospital, Muirfield, Mad River SKI, Nestle's, Scotts and Honda of America locations. Enjoy a full kitchen, 2 queen beds & en suite baths and #WFH desk.

Welcome to Marysville, Ohio, the home of Scotts, Honda of America and a nearby Nestle's plant. Mad River ski area is about a 20 minute drive. The Memorial Tournament is about 20 minutes northeast. We are also near historic downtown Marysville that features farmers' markets, parks, great restaurants and historic architecture.

Access is via a Smartlock. You will receive the code the day of check-in.

You will have the entire half of the duplex. Please note that parking is free but in a shared space and there is a long-term tenant in the adjacent unit. The space is fully appointed and pet friendly. Please clean up after your pets.

Parking is adjacent and free. There is no regular public transportation. The nearest airports are in Columbus and Dayton.

Welcome to Marysville, Ohio and this unique shipping container duplex. The property is pet friendly and features 2 bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms and a half bath downstairs. The living space holds a 55" smart TV and fully appointed kitchen. The first floor sofa can be used as a bed.

Such a cute little place! Perfect location just outside of Columbus. We took our dog to Ohio State veterinary clinic for extensive testing and it turned out we needed an extra night stay. Jennifer made it super easy for us!

Wonderful beds!

This is the cleanest place we have ever stayed at- spotless!!!!! And the beds!!! Heaven on earth with their 100% cotton sheets and thoughtful 2 different sized pillows 😊 The coffee maker & complimentary kcups were a godsend, the snacks a thoughtful touch ❤️ We would highly recommend this place, and will definitely stay here again when heading east!

Unique, Nice Rental

This property is very unique, as you would expect from the listing! The owners were easy to work with and very responsive! The place was very big for the cost! Just the Wife and I stayed even though it has 2 bedrooms because it is priced so reasonable! Very clean! Every amenity you could ever need for a rental was provided…even some snacks😆. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

I'm 74 and grew up in Marysville until I went into the service. My older brother died and I went back for his service. I was pleasantly surprised by at the uniqueness of the unit. It is beautiful inside and out. Quiet neighborhood. Everything is very clean and well appointed. I couldn't of asked for more. Especially under my personal circumstances. Big fluffy towels, comfortable bed and great coffee. I would recommend this apartment to any one. I feel this IS a 5 star apartment and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the lack of communication between the owners and myself. Before leaving for the trip I rec'd an email stating the door code would not be given if payment wasn't made. So I emailed them and asked if they had rec'd payment. Nothing. The day before I left I emailed them about how wonderful everything was and that I very nice time at their place. Still nothing. So after I got home, I called the number they provided and got phone mail. I left the message as to why I called and who I was and a number where I could be reached. Knowing that people are working, I have waited now 4 days since my phone call, for a response. Still nothing. The container apartment deserves 5 stars. Too bad about the communication problem. Maybe after this review I'll hear something.

My husband is a Marysville native and designer of this unique container home duplex. Family still live in Marysville and Columbus. We all are Ohio State graduates - GO BUCKS - and Ohio natives.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Marysville has undergone a renaissance beginning with the arrival of Honda of America in the late 1970s. But this overlooks the 150+ year history of Scotts (Scott Seed) in Marysville where it is still located. As Columbus has grown, it has moved into the outskirts of town but Marysville retains its historic downtown and county and city government buildings. Don't miss the fair and the balloon rally. And Marysville is near Muirfield and the Memorial Tournament.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This is the first of its kind shipping container duplex, perhaps anywhere in the U.S. but certainly east of the Mississippi River. There are nine 8x20 foot boxes and 2 8x40 foot boxes. The interior has retained as much of the shipping container structure as possible and we accentuated its unique structure with exposed pipes and other metal decor.
