Nestled near the base of Olympic National Park. Close to the beach and ferry access in Port Angeles to Victoria Canada. Great hiking, boating, fishing etc. If you just want rest you will find peace and tranquilty here. We are located 10 min from the Straigt of Jaun de Fuca, Crescent Beach, Lake Crescent and Fort Warden St. Park. Come and explore for the experience of a life time.

Don and Blue were fantastic, we enjoyed getting to pick apples for our hikes and tips he gave us. Super clean and comfortable, we can’t wait to come back.

The property is in a quaint and picturesque area of the park that is very close to Lake Crescent. All in all a great stay with very hospitable folks!

Great location and scenery.

Very good location to access all of what Olympic National Park has to offer. Don was very helpful and the place was great. We didn't have time to take out the canoe or kayak but the trails were fun to explore.

This was a perfect stay for our short visit to the Olympic Peninsula. The place is right in the heart of all the great hiking. There is a comfortable bed, a kitchen including a stovetop and oven; we had everything we could need. The place was super clean and Don was a super welcoming host - as was his dog Blue! :) the property itself is gorgeous and it made for such a peaceful and relaxing retreat. When we return to the area we will be sure to keep this place in mind!

Don and Blue are the amazing hosts and it was a wonderful experience. I regret booking it only for a night and not spending enough time there. Don shared some homemade apple pie and blackberries with us

Peaceful Getaway

This was an amazing getaway, in a clean and serene location! We can’t wait to come back to the PNW and look to rebook here. This was a great location to get to multiple trails within Olympic National Park.

Perfect spot to rest while traveling to Olympic NP and Hoh Rain Forest. Very easy to locate, no problems checking in. Large property with activities for all ages. We loved walking around the berry patches and the drawer of kid’s toys. Thank you, Don and Blue, for your history and hospitality. Cheers!

Very beautiful, and friendly host and location

The property is beautiful, peaceful and very worth it. With the lake and gree. meadow, hiking and kayaking possibilities. Our host Don was very friendly, kind , knowleable and a pleasure to stay with. I would definetly stay here again with more time to explore and enjoy all the benefits this property has to offer.

Great stay at a great property

Had a great time at this property. It is clean and close to Port Angeles. Don is a great host and neighbor and it was fun to see his Australian Shepherd in the morning before heading into the park. I would suggest this property for my friends and family.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Port Angeles! Don was a fantastic host—knowledgeable, friendly, and super accommodating. Check-in was quick and easy, which made settling in stress-free. One of the highlights was Don’s sweet dog, Blue, who came by to visit. Blue was incredibly friendly, and our dog and Blue became fast friends—it was such a wholesome experience! The place had everything we needed, and we truly enjoyed our time. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

This place exceeded our expectations, the host was super cool and his doggo Blue quickly made friends with our Weimaraner.Definitely have to come back again as the views are amazing and it’s such an ez escape away from the daily hustle and bustle. 5 Stars easy!

Gateway Getaway

Sweet studio in remote-feeling location relatively close to attractions of northern ONP. Greeted by Don and Blue, the first with suggestions if you want them, and both very friendly. Fell asleep to frog chorus and enjoyed seeing the baby ducks, robins, red-winged black birds and occasional elk.

Perfect cabin for nature lovers

Clean and Cozy home nestled in calm and serene nature. Added to the beauty was a small lake right next to it and a small canoe to go around. The host is great and takes care of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. The home has all the necessary facilities. At a short distance from busy Port Angeles, very close to Lake crescent. Very happy with the stay and definitely recommend!!
