Cette maison rĂ©novĂ©e datant du milieu du siĂšcle et situĂ©e sur une falaise, juste au-dessus du dĂ©troit de Juan de Fuca, fait face au nord de Victoria. Profitez des navires de croisiĂšre, des cargos et des lumiĂšres de Victoria depuis le salon, la chambre principale, la cuisine et la salle Ă  manger. Asseyez-vous dehors et regardez un aigle attraper son dĂźner. ou activitĂ© Ă  la station de la Garde cĂŽtiĂšre. Profitez des 3 hectares de prairie et de forĂȘt avec suffisamment d’espace pour garer un bateau ou une remorque. Cette maison de 3 chambres Ă  coucher comprend une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, un grand salon et une cheminĂ©e au propane. Deux chambres ont des lits queen et une chambre avec un lit simple. Il n'y a pas de wifi et pas de tĂ©lĂ©vision par cĂąble dans cet Ă©tablissement. Parce que la propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e sur une banque de 150 pieds, nous ne louons pas aux familles avec enfants.

Fourth time staying here

This property is just so comfortable. We've stayed here 4 times and hope to come back again. The location is perfect. The property is well kept. We think it's a pretty special place. The owners are great people.

Great views, wonderful house, beautiful property

We stayed as a launching point for Olympic National Park and we couldn't have had a better place. The house has lovely architecture, the views of the sea are incredible, and Maureen and Joe were very helpful with their advice about the town and park.

Hidden Gem in Port Angeles

This was a wonderful stay. The property itself is a hidden gem in port Angeles, surrounded by forests, with ocean view from living room and dining room. It’s also very convenient to explore Olympic national park from the property.Maureen and Joe were amazing hosts. They came to the property for in-person checked and toured us around the house. Maureen also gave valuable tips on planning travels and exploring nearby regions.Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to this area!

Olympic Ntnl Park Trip

We had a great time at Maureen and Joe's place! The location was great, with easy access to the park, great food options nearby, and beautiful ocean views. The house itself was very comfortable, and Maureen and Joe were very responsive and flexible when we had to shift around our plans a little bit. I definitely recommend their home for your trip to Olympic!

Mid Century Marvel

Staying at Maureen’s childhood home felt like staying in a Frank Lloyd Wright house. With expansive windows, a secluded location, surrounding trees and rhododendrons, and a marvelous water view, the well furnished mid century modern home is a treasure.

Gorgeous property out of the way from traffic. Deers showed up in the back yard almost every morning. Clear view of the Canada from inside the house. House was well stocked with appliances.

Perfect spot for Olympic Penisula touring!

Charming original midcentury home with spectacular views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Very well equipped in all respects, from the kitchen to the bed/bath linens-- including travel info, telescope and binoculars, video library, very comfortable beds. House is super close to the Black Ball Ferry landing to go to Victoria B.C. Maureen is a wonderful host, gave us a thorough introduction to the home and the surrounding area. This group of friends will definitely be back!! Tip: LOVED Country Aire Natural Foods in Port Angeles.

This is not just a rental house, this is a home. It is charming. It is mostly large picture windows yet it is secluded and private. It's a large property with beautiful trees, bushes, flowers, and wildlife. There are gorgeous sunsets and views of the strait, ships passing by, Victoria, mountains, and you can even see Mount Baker from the dining room table. It has all the benefits of home with so many things provided. There are binoculars, all the soaps and detergents needed, home stereo (with USB port), nice flatware and cookware, foil, saran wrap, real-brand Kleenex and TP, nice comfy chairs with ottomans and crocheted afghans, night lights...an endless list of things we appreciated during our stay. It is clean and well-maintained. It has beautiful flowers, not just in pots hanging outside but indoors as well. Maureen and Joe greet you and share their insights and insider knowledge to make the most of your visit.

You seriously can't beat that view!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very quiet, yet surprisingly close to the main highway, and very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, downtown Port Angeles, and a trailhead for the Olympic Discovery Trail. I think we spent any time we were at the house and not sleeping sitting on the back patio watching the ships pass by. Maureen and Joe take excellent care of the property, everything was very clean and the landscaping is lovely! They are also very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of recommendations and fun facts to share. Would definitely recommend!

This property is a gem. We completely enjoyed our stay. Maureen met us and went over the property details and history of the property. The property exceeded our expectations. She also covered some of the things to see around the area including info on the marine traffic within view from the property. We are already trying to figure out a return visit. Just Beautiful

The view speaks for itself and would be a good enough reason to stay here on its own. Based on the apparent age of the home I was prepared for the interior to be a bit worn. Not at all! Everything was pristine. We also appreciated that pantry items, laundry detergent and bath soaps were provided. We are so happy we were able spend our vacation in this home.

A very nice, comfortable, well-equipped place to stay with convenient access to stores for stocking with food. Really loved the architecture with its open floor plan and large windows for viewing of ships passing through the Strait. House is located on a large property that provides privacy. Maureen and Joe were very friendly and accommodating and met with us on day of arrival.We were able to use place for access to day hikes around Olympic National Park. Would highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to book again for another visit.

The house was immaculate and there was a wonderful view of the Straight of Juan de Fuca from the kitchen, the living room, and the bedroom, The site was quiet snd relaxing and the owners were very helpful and accommodating. If I could give the place a 6 or 7 In the ratings I would. Probably the best rental I have ever stayed in.

This was quite a special experience for us. Maureen and Joe met us at what was once Maureen’s childhood home. The view as we pulled in the driveway convinced us that we had picked the perfect “home away from home” for our trip. And once we visited with the hosts, we realized this was quite wonderful opportunity. The listing was exactly as stated, the views were better than we could have imagined and the home was clean and loaded with everything we needed for our trip-especially the dishwasher and laundry machines! Thank you so much Maureen and Joe for trusting us with your special place on the beautiful Strait of Juan de Fuca. Would love to make it back and visit again!

We had a wonderful stay here, starting with being personally welcomed by our hosts Maureen and Joe. The property was exactly as I anticipated, clean, peaceful and full of mid-century charm. The personal stories Joe & Maureen shared about the history of the home were icing on the cake. We enjoyed the sights & sounds of the Strait, the spacious kitchen and the private setting. Hosts are wonderful and so helpful with tips on traveling in the area. We appreciated the advice, especially about needing to be early for Hoh as well as the time of day for low tide.Highly recommend!

Girls Hiking Trip

My friend and I planned a hiking trip to Olympic with half our stay in Port Angeles. Maureen & Joe opened their beautiful home to us and we enjoyed every moment
from the beautiful sunsets to the sounds of the ocean to watching the ships pass through the Strait. If you are looking for a location near Olympic Park and also close to downtown Port Angeles but also want quiet and privacy, this is the house to stay at! Maureen & Joe were a fount of information and shared the ‘must do’s’ of the area. I hope to come back again soon!!

Great views and property

Awesome value on this rental house over looking the strait of Juan de Fuca. Super clean, awesome great room with panoramic views, gas fireplace and comfortable seating. Has to be one of the best values in Port Angeles. Which we stayed longer.
