Wonderful Villa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying here and it has only gotten better. Wonderful location, and a perfect house for our family of five. Close to all the attractions in Monterrey (walking) and a short drive for others.

Great Location, house needs a disclosure and an upgrade

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Prop mgr very responsive. Location was awesome, new kitchen counter and bathroom counter. Kitchen well stocked and view was awesome. Stairs need a disclosure as they are steep. Carpet is about 20 years old, stained and tattered. furniture worn out. time for the owner to spend some $ and get a new carpet and furniture. The showers are dark and there are steps up and down into both bathroom showers. Dryer vents into a hole in the ground and therefore into the laundry room. Door lock is messed up and we got locked out for 15 min.

The homeowner is currently working on projects in the home. The owner did remodel the bathrooms and some of the floors in the home but she is working on it in stages. We didn't hear from the guest about anything they mentioned in the review.

House was right by the water and had wonderful views. We saw deer and sea otters from the balcony. Beds were comfortable, 2 downstairs and master upstairs. We felt comfortable and safe. Dishes, towels, and appliances were all as expected. We were very happy to stay and look forward to booking again soon!

We overall had a good stay. The townhouse is in a great location, very close to the beach and walkable to Cannery Row. Management is great and super responsive. The kitchen garbage disposal was broken during our stay and got replaced in the same day!The only downside is that the house is very dated, all fixtures are old, not enough charging outlets near the bed, some termite droppings near the fireplace, and the carpet feels like it's due for replacement.

The villa was quite nice and the view lovely.Both showers were gruesome in terms of the tiling and darkness of the space (even with modest lighting).I loved the skylight in the primary bathroom.The two steps going up to the primary bedroom and two steps going down to the primary bathroom are quite dangerous for us senior citizens. Despite the above thoughts, we had a wonderful stay at the villa and on the Monterey Peninsula.

The house was pretty amazing, and the check in process super simple. The views from the house are stunning. We loved how close everything, was..all within walking distance to good food, a grocery store, downdown, the aquarium and cannary lane.
