My family really enjoyed staying at Nicoleâs house. They were so welcoming & accommodating and the property itself could not have been more perfectly setup for our needs. Our kids loved playing in the yard and admiring the Koi pond. We would absolutely stay again.
Excellent place to stay while exploring Ann Arbor/Detroit. Great host and a convenient location thatâs near everything, but far enough away from any noise
We loved our stay! It was quiet, cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we could have asked for -- as well as being a perfect distance from Ann Arbor. We were not in town for long as we drove in for two nights with a wedding in between, but our family of 5 (including two teens and a tween!) loved the backyard, bunk beds, four-season porch and array of games. It truly felt like home away from home.
We stayed here with 4 Adults and 2 young kids in the summer. The yard is large and beautiful. The kids loved watching the frogs in the back yard pond. The house is well stocked and equiped for a family.
The entire home & property is amazing! It was comfortable, beautiful & had plenty of amenities. Everything was clean & there were lots of unexpected extras included. The pond is so relaxing & the landscaping is so nice for a little walk. Itâs close to anything you might want or need.
We rented this house for our family while attending a wedding at Wellerâs nearby, and we were absolutely blown away! The home was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. The kids had a blastâespecially with all the toys and the pond, where they were fascinated by the frogs. It was such a joy to see them so entertained and curious.I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the stocked coffee (which I forgot to bring!) and the refreshing showersâcomplete with soapâafter a 95-degree day. Every detail made our stay more comfortable.I would 100% recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway. We loved every minute!
So close to Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, yet peaceful and isolated. We stayed here to visit Ann Arbor and the Michigan Renaissance Festival. It was perfect for us. The master suite with attache sunroom was great and the kids rooms were just what we needed. Nice living room and kitchen and great outdoor spaces. Looking forward to visiting again.
My wife and I love to travel to Ann Arbor and the surrounding area several times a year. Weâve stayed in loads of places from hotels to yurts and this home is by far the nicest/coziest. We appreciated the special touches like blankets and a lovely gas fireplace for that unpredictable Michigan weather. The outdoor space was equally lovely! The pond and firepit area with wood provided were a special treat! The patio table got a lot of use with us playing cards and listening to the frogs and birds. We are ready to buy should they decide to list it!! :)
It was a beautiful property both inside and out, but it was the little touches that set it apart. The selection of coffees and teas, the stocked laundry, the quality of paper products, and everything you would need in a kitchen. We would love to return.
We had a great stay. I would stay here again and recommend this listing to others. It was convinent for a our umich graduation activities. Listing was clear description of property. Very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable house. The beds were all comfortable, sheets/towels fresh and felt new. Check in super easy. Nicole reached out to answer any questions I had about the area and invited me for early check in when property was ready which ended up being super helpful with our logistics. My daughter left behind her toiltery bag and that was found and shipped to her immediately - incredibly considerate and helpful.
What a terrific place to stay. Indoors is lovely. The home is beautiful and nicely decorated (though the plastic indoor plants were incongruous with the overall vibe of the property). The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics and more. The beds were comfortable. We were even permitted to park in the garage. All great. But the backyard of the property is what drew us in and will call us to stay here again. There were many beautiful trees and plants and a fabulous (good sized) pond that a great number of fish and frogs called home. We sat for hours by the pond. Admittedly, it was also a glorious spring day.
We loved this home. It is very clean and cozy. We love nature and this house had beautiful landscaping. We started our day by the outdoor pond drinking our morning coffee and ended our day sitting by the fire pit making s'mores. The house is spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.
Beautiful property. You can walk around. Light a fire outside. Enjoy the pond with fish. Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to anywhere. The house was beautiful. I would recommend this to families with kids or adults without!
3 of us girlfriends had a fantastic time at this property! It was the perfect house for a relaxing weekend. It was clean, and so cute! The house and linens and towels were clean, the beds were super comfortable, & we just loved the house so much. It is also on a beautiful private property. We loved all the little details, the delish coffee bar, & appreciated the thoughtful items included if we needed (firstaid kit, blow dryer, sound machines, etc.)
It was overall just great, & we are very much looking to stay again :)
We had such a great time staying here! The house was super cozy and had so many thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. The yard was beautiful, we loved sitting by the little pond watching the frogs, and the flowers smelled amazing. Would definitely stay here again!
This house has breathtaking views. The yard was full of wildlife and nature. The house was spectacular. Perfect for a getaway! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Very well supplied. Plenty of towels, extra sheets and toiletries. Coffee bar was great.
We enjoyed staying at this property. The deck was very nice. We didnât have time for a bonfire but it was ready if we did. The setting with the pond was very nice. A little away from most of our planned activities but would recommend it.
The house and all its amenities were great, exactly as pictured and described. We were a multigenerational group of 6, had a great experience, and would stay here again when in the area. The landscaping was particularly beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside, walking around the yard, and watching the fish and frogs in the pond. The location was just about perfect; 10 minutes to grocery stores and some restaurants, and to the freeway, for easy access to wherever you want to go. Being able to park inside the garage was particularly nice.
The only things we would have liked that weren't there were: (1) a nonslip tub mat for the hall bathroom (be careful, that tub surface is slippery!); (2) a small shelf for toiletries in the hall bath (there's no medicine cabinet and the sink surround is small); and (3) having portable fans for use as needed in the smaller bedrooms (they got a little warm at night and cranking the AC would have made it too cold for our other family members).
