Welcome to The Barnhaus. This brand-new construction custom-built home was finished in June 2022. Built specifically to be a vacation home, we have thought of everything! This cabin has all solid wood furnishings, real leather upholstery, 1080p 40 inch TV`s in each bedroom and great water pressure! Perched up on a hill in a quiet neighborhood, our home is secluded & quiet yet less than 5 min. from Shawnee Peak and Moose Pond. We cut no corners while building this house and hope to have you soon!

We built this home around comfort. As short-term rental owners and managers, we truly understand what a guest is looking for from learning over the years. We have implemented all that information into this home. From TVs in each room to genuine quality leather couches to high-end dishware, we have opted into quality wherever possible.

Our home is set in a neighborhood where there are 4 other homes. Our street is set off of Knights Hill road which takes you directly to the lake!

4 wheel drive is not required but would be helpful

We live in a quiet neighborhood and expect our guests to respect the neighbors.

We offer free Tesla Charging - we only have the tesla hook up.

Our rules are pretty simple. Treat our home as if it was yours.
- Guest making the reservation must be over 25. All guests must be over 25 if not part of a family. This is non negotiable. Please do not book if everyone in your group is not 25+ years old.
- No smoking in the house
- No fireworks or other illegal activities
- Parking is limited to 3 automobiles (No off-road or recreational vehicles.)
- The number of guests requested on the booking is the max amount allowed to spend the night.
- A rental agreement may be provided with more specific rules and information.
- Quiet time is from 10pm-8am (inside and outside of the house)
- NO loud music or noise will be tolerated
- Respect the neighbors
