2 Bdrm Condo w/in 10 min from USC, Downtown Columbia, Ft Jackson, VA hospital
Within minutes of Williams-Brice, Colonial Life Arena, downtown, USC, Ft Jackson, USC Med School, VA Hospital, Shopping, Restaurants and more. Very peaceful, blue collar area. Valencia Park less than a 5 minute walk.
It was in a perfect place. Quiet and close to everything I need to get to for the week. Grocery store and restaurants very close. Super easy to get the Army base and Folly beach is close enough for a day trip!!!
The description of the property was accurate. This was my first time using the VRBO site/application (it is terrible) and the host was very helpful and supportive while I navigated the challenges that I experienced. My family is located near by and when I visit them I will look at booking this property again.
We stayed here for my boyfriendâs basic graduation at fort Jackson. At first we were skeptical of the neighborhood, but it ended up being very quiet and peaceful and we werenât bothered at all by anyone. It was about a 15 minute drive to Fort Jackson and very convenient. The place was clean, we used the kitchen a lot and it had everything we needed we also used the washer and dryer lots. Itâs a good stay and well priced. The host was great, answered within a 5-15 minute time frame and was very helpful.
Neighborhood was quiet & we felt safe, WiFi easy to use, A/C worked great, mostly clean. As older folk, taller sofa & handicap height toilet would be great. The plug-in fragrance was way overpowering, but still did not mask the âoldâ smell that could be helped with new carpet and furniture. Listing needs to be clearer about 2nd floor options as my wife struggles with stairs and I did not realize this was on the 2nd floor. I had to apologize to her.
Everything was amazing and quiet. We weren't there other than to sleep because we were at fort Jackson for military things for our daughter. Would recommend to anyone.
This place was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, the condo was clean and comfortable and the host Joe was amazing. I would definitely book again when I visit in the future.
This is a hard place to review because I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression. It's certainly not 5 Star luxury but I basically got what I paid for. Would I stay here again... I'm not sure. When you are on a budget, compromises must be made.We were just coming thought town and needed a place for the four of us to crash for the night and this place offered more beds and more privacy then the cheapest hotels, for about half the price (not included taxes and fees). The condo is really pretty spacious with a living room, kitchen, and dinner room. The bed rooms are small but, functional. The single bathroom meets the requirements. All in all, the experience is fine. Easy parking. Simple check in.The accommodations about what you should expect for a cheap place to stay. The beds aren't terrible comfortable. The rooms are pretty run down and dingy, so it doesn't feel particularly clean (it may be vacuumed and scrubbed down, but the cracks in the paint, holes in the carpet, etc leave the impression that the place is not lovingly carerd for). All that said, if the owner had invested in updates to make this place nicer, they would have to increase there rate, I may not have been able afford it, and my whole family would be crammed into a single budget hotel room... So... We probably need some places that accept what they are and offer a good price with minimal frills.
The price was most excellent . The property was a touch on the older side, and in a great, mature neighborhood. There was more parking in the rear than I had expected, which was needed as we had two vehicles. Everything worked fine. Did I mention that it was very clean, no dirt no dirt anywhere
My son was graduating from Fort Jackson and this was just perfect. Quiet clean neighborhood⊠clean condo⊠great host. Close to base and shopping Full service kitchen and comfortable beds
The stay was pretty ok for the most part the mattress were super hard the queen size bed listed on the website is not the same bed in the actual place and the carpets were super dirty but other than that the stay was ok
Check in was super easy and convenient. Upon entry into the premises, it was just as advertised. The house was very clean and it was in a convenient neighborhood with stores short drive away. Would definitely stay again.
I see the reviews about updating furniture. But for how much is being charged, itâs not worth it to update it. It was fine for the night we needed. We were just passing through and needed a place to sleep. The big bed was kind of hard but we slept fine. If they update anything, I would start with the floors. I donât wear shoes in homes but I felt like I should have there. The sink in the bathroom needs to be cleaned out so it can drain properly. But other than that, it was perfect for what my family needed it for. If you care about updated furniture and beds, I wouldnât stay here. But if that doesnât bother you, then I would recommend it. Had no issues with commutation or checking in or out.
I absolutely recommend. Some reviews mentions older furniture and that is true, however I wasn't making the trip for that. It is a working class neighborhood, kids in the area, a park just a few blocks away, quiet in the evenings. I was there for my soldier's family day and graduation at Fort Jackson so I wasn't around during the day a whole lot. It is close to the base, which was a big appeal, maybe 10 minutes. The host was fantastic. This was my first time renting a property with Vrbo and I kept thinking of questions. He always answered promptly and friendly. He made me feel much more comfortable on a trip I was very nervous and excited about. I stayed alone, but there is plenty of room for a family.
Good, quiet place to lay your head at night. Host was very helpful with any questions I had and was very pleasant to work with. Will book again should the need arise.
