Very peaceful place, I enjoyed the time very much! The owners are efficient and very detailed with instructions, they truly take pride in their property.
Clean and bright from the moment you open the door. Well supplied and such responsive hosts are a true gift!! I would stay a month if I could! Love this casita!!
This was our favorite place to stay. It was super clean and spacious. We felt very âat homeâ in the space and slept well. We will make this our âgo toâ when in Tucson.
Amazing back yard with so many birds. Enjoyed our time on the patio. The casita is very comfortable and well appointed. Very convenient location to all the attractions we were interested, plus groceries and restaurants. Wouldnât hesitate to book there again.
Such a comfortable, clean and well- equipped casita! Loved the hot tub, reading in the zero G chairs and swings. Lots of nature to enjoy and beautiful grounds to relax among. We will be back. David and Ro are great hosts, friendly, accommodating and gave us our space to just be.
My husband and I VERY MUCH enjoyed at our stay at this casita. It was just as advertised. The unit had everything we needed and more. The property was just what we were looking for; quiet, natural setting, wildlife and birds to enjoy! The location was well-suited to visiting Sabino canyon and Mt Lemmon. Great food close by as well. We will be back!!!
A beautiful place inside and out. The furniture was very nice and comfortable, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking items. The yard was beautifully decorated with 3 different sitting areas. When not hiking, we spent much of our time at the house sitting outside. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Tucson the casita was convenient to Sabino Canyon, the eastern section of Saguaro National Park and Mount Lemmon.
Have stayed here repeatedly as love it so much and plan my visits around their few vacancies.. In addition to the very pleasant casita I appreciate the extensive yard with multiple seating areas and variety of birds.
We really enjoyed our stay the property is so tranquil. Very close to fabulous hikes and golf. Hosts are very welcoming but totally give you privacy. Would definitely recommend A Very very very Fine house! Will stay again when we come to Tucson!
The casita was one of the best VRBOs weâve ever stayed in. The furnishings are nice, tasteful and comfortable. Everything was provided we could wish for - paper towels, shampoo, coffee filters to name a few items that are often bring-your-own. The owners are next door but we literally only saw them once as he refilled the bird feeders out back. We didnât use the pool or hot tub but they looked nice. Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants.
We loved our stay as the accommodations were perfect for us as a couple. The sitting area tree under the mesquite trees, the firepit, hottub, birds, and sounds of nature along Sabino Creek watershed. Cool to hear coyotes yip!
The online photos don't do this delightful Casita and surroundings justice. Beautiful, comfortable, well appointed, quiet, clean, and the hosts are wonderful.
This was a perfect homebase for working on my novel and for access to nearby trails.
Lovely place in a desert setting but easy to get to shopping & hiking. Garden is just right, so many places to sit and a different outlook from all angles. Would stay here everytime we go to Tucson. Please do not change anything it is perfect.
Perfect place to stay in Tucson, stunning neighborhood with a million incredible hiking opportunities all around. The casita had everything we needed and it's obviously cared for with passion. Made me want to stay in Tucson forever!
Dave and Ro are perfect hosts. The property is beautifully situated. The casita has been very thoughtfully furnished and is wonderfully comfortable. I hope we can stay again.
This beautiful house and it's location exceeded our expectations! It is well stocked, has a comfortable bed, and has lovely outdoor living space. It is close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and anything else you might want, and yet, you feel "out back" with quietness and privacy. It's also close to Mount Lemmon, Saguaro NP East, and other tourist attractions.
My wife and I retired here from upstate New York. I was a residential re-modeler and new home builder for 30 years. My wife was a teacher. We love Tucson so much, we retired here.
Have you ever rented a place that looked great on the web site only to find it lacking in person? The non-stick cookware is shot, or the shower drains so slowly you stand in dirty water, or there is a bucket in the living room catching a 'small' leak from the unit above? Well, as a traveler all three of these things have happened to me. I can assure you that this will never happen to you at our Casita. We live right next door. The premises are thoroughly inspected between each stay. Any issue that pops up while you are here can be taken care of immediately, or held off until you leave, if that's what you prefer. When you arrive, the home will be ready for you to enjoy every minute of your vacation.
As a builder, I am proud of this home. From its unique architectural lines to its elegant southwestern decor, I believe the home is truly a special place. But the truth is, I could build this home anywhere. What really makes this home a complete joy to live in is the location. The home sits on one acre in a quiet, residential neighborhood. There is a solid 6' high privacy wall enclosing the entire backyard. This is about 1/2 acre. While it is very peaceful sitting in the home, the backyard offers a large covered patio with a gas grill, a water fountain with a bench, plus two other sitting areas with a mesquite tree canopy. To top it all off, the 'Tucson Table' area is tranquility at it's finest. Sit back, or lie back on the zero gravity chairs, and listen to the wind tickle the mesquite trees, hummingbirds proclaiming their territory, and the coyotes announcing the sunset - or sunrise - if you are up that early. We have spent many an evening watching the sunset across the majestic Catalina Mountains. With all the nooks and crannies, it never grows old.
