Casa Milagrosa A private one bedroom casita with views overlooking Tucson

Casa Milagrosa is your own private getaway on the east side of Tucson. It is located near Agua Caliente Canyon and overlooks the vast Tucson Valley and sloping mountainside of the Santa Catalina Mountains.

The Casita features tasteful Southwestern decor with a spacious living room, fireplace, kitchenette, bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bath. Our guests feel the serenity of the Sonoran Desert, while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding mountains and star-filled nights from their private porch. The Casita is roughly 25 minutes from Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. There are several golf courses nearby, including The Arizona National Golf Club, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course ranked in the top 25 of all public courses in Arizona. The Casita is close enough to shopping and grocery stores to be convenient, yet far enough to escape the crowds. There are great restaurants and grocery shopping within 10 minutes of the Casita.

Visitors have access to a heated outdoor salt water spa and fireplace that is privately located across the driveway at the main house. There is also an outdoor propane BBQ in front of the Casita. If you like hiking, trails are within steps of your front door, the trails range in length and difficulty. The Casita offers hiking access to the Aqua Caliente Canyon that will lead you to pools of water and a perfect place for a picnic, or if you prefer, Milagrosa Canyon is a short 20 minute hike. The Milagrosa Falls boast a triple waterfall that can be seen running during the rainy season.

The Casita is equipped with washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, linens, towels, dishes, glassware, silverware, microwave, hot plate, refrigerator with small freezer, Keurig Coffee maker and more. RV and Trailer parking are also available.

Casa Milagrosa is a truly peaceful and serene getaway. We are excited to have you as our guests. If you’ve come to golf, hike, relax or visit many of the things Tucson has to offer such as the Sonoran Desert Museum, the Air and Space Museum, Mount Lemmon, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic place to stay in Tucson.

This casita was perfect for our weekend away. The area is very beautiful, quiet and the casita was beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen and many other amenities. The casita was close to many good restaurants and close to downtown area. Hope to go back again.

Peaceful times in a beautiful place

Great place for our interests: nature at the door step with birds of many varieties and hiking trails beginning 100 yards away. No traffic. Great views of mountains, sunsets and night sky.

Amazing Stay

I can't say enough good things about our stay here. We had a fantastic vacation in the Tucson area and it was made all the better knowing we had such a comfortable and cozy place to go at the end of every day! Judy and Ramon were super responsive to our questions, yet allowed us our privacy. The views from the Casita are amazing ... watching the sun go down from the porch was a highlight!Would definitely stay again!

Sonoran Desert Oasis

If you are looking to treat yourself to a first-class lodging experience, don't wait to book this special place! The owners have thought of every little detail and provided all the comforts you could think of. The hot tub is incredible and controlled by a phone app which we thought was really cool. The sunsets were colorful from the front porch. The casita is well-designed and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed hiking in Saguaro and mountain biking in Catalina. I could go on but you get the idea. Five stars all around!

Nice stay

We wanted a place in the Tanque Verde area, and this was perfect for us. It's a rural setting, with hiking trails within 100 yards of the casita and close to the Mount Lemon road, Reddington Pass and other outdoor areas, but also with stores and restaurants within about a 15 minute drive. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

What a wonderful single bed casita in extreme northeastern Tucson located very near Mt. Lemmon highway. The description of the casita is exactly what is offered. If you want quiet, secluded, location with a comfortable bed this is your place. The owners are very nice pleasant folks.

Pictures are Misleading

My partner and I were disappointed that we booked another place that is connected to a home. The owner's home is next door and so is the hot tub. We walked over to check on the hot tub and someone was watching TV. It was uncomfortable to stay there.

Beautiful casita, top notch host!

First time to stay in Tucson! This property is outside of town so a bit of a drive to Old Tucson and the Sonoran Desert Museum, but just minutes away from the route to Mt Lemmon. All of those things are must see! The casita was thoughtfully equipped with toiletries, coffee, etc. we loved our stay and would definitely stay again if we return to Tucson!

Great weekend getaway in the Sonoran desert

Judy and Ramon are wonderful hosts! The casita is absolutely adorable and photos do not do it justice! It's at the foothills for the Catalinas and surrounded by the saguaros. Exactly what we were looking for in a long weekend stay. The hosts have thought of everything, truly all you need to bring is your personal items and food if you so choose. We cannot wait to come back!

Desert vacation

Came to hike and see the Sonoran desert. Never been to the area before. Wonderful house and location. The hot tube spa was difficult to get heated in the mornings, in the end we just communicated with the hosts who always helped us. The last two nights in the spa with the fire watching the sunset were amazing. Great location for hikes too. Was all as expected.

THE VERY BEST

The description of this property does not do it justice. In reality it is much more charming and relaxing. The dwelling has a maximum of southwest flair. The casita is perfect, the view is excellent and the peace and quiet is at the top level. I have stayed at five VRBOS in Tucson in the last couple of years and this is the best. There is nothing left out as far as amities. The host was perfect. If you are going to stay in Tucson this is the place. The only complaint I have is I could not say longer - what a perfect place

Best Vrbo Experience to Date!

This place is heaven! My boyfriend and I stayed at Judy and Ramon’s casita during the end of July (hottest time of the year!) and were a bit apprehensive visiting at this time since we are from CT and wanted to be comfortable. That was a true understatement, we were welcomed to an authentic casita with our own parking, grill, and views to last a lifetime. Everything was absolutely spotless and they offered everything you could ever need inside. AC worked grrat, as did TV and wifi and they are even gracious enough to share their main house hot tub and outdoor space. I truly cannot wait to come back ASAP!

Our stay was perfect. The casita was exactly as it was described online and a perfect little retreat for our time in Tucson. Judy and Ramon communicated with instructions and left well, understood written information inside as well. We did not need them for anything but new they would be responsive if we did. 25th Anniversary get away

Extremely quiet and beautiful area. Very clean, well decorated, and comfy. The weather was extremely hot but the air conditioning inside kept us cool. Just a short 20 minute drive to most things in Tucson.

Great Location

Very nice casita. Great for a couple. Within 30 minutes of most all Tucson attraction. Convenient to Mt. Lemmon. Loved the views from the porch.
