Sortez par votre porte arrière et marchez sur la magnifique plage de l'Atlantique. Ou détendez-vous au bord de la piscine en bord de mer. Profitez de la vue sur l'océan depuis le bain à remous du pont principal. Ou détendez-vous simplement sur l'un des 5 ponts en bord de mer et regardez les dauphins jouer.

Dans la soirée, prenez votre verre de vin sur le pont côté baie en regardant le coucher du soleil. Le soir, jouez au billard ou au hockey aérien. Regardez des films sur le téléviseur à écran plat de 50 pouces. Il y a 7 chambres et un loft et 4 salles de bain complètes.

La chambre au premier étage a un lit queen et un lit jumeau. Il y a une salle de bain complète privée à cet étage. Laveuse et sécheuse dans la buanderie avec un réfrigérateur supplémentaire.

Le deuxième étage est accessible par un escalier en colimaçon aux 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains, la chambre côté baie a 2 lits doubles et le front de mer a 1 lit queen. Le bain est entre les deux chambres dans un hall privé.

La chambre principale également au 2ème étage a un lit king avec un petit coin salon comprenant un bureau et un mini frigo. Le maître a une grande salle de bain avec une douche ouverte pour 2 personnes et 2 lavabos avec WC séparé. Il y a deux ponts hors de la chambre principale, un détient le bain à remous. Les deux ponts sont couverts.

Le troisième étage a les 2 chambres supplémentaires (une avec un roi et l'autre avec une reine) avec le bain principal entre eux. Il y a aussi un salon face à l'océan, 2 salles à manger séparées, un grand bar, une cuisine et une salle de billard. Il y a une autre chambre sous la salle de table de billard avec 2 lits superposés (un lit superposé a un lit complet en bas) et 1 lit simple séparé. La table de hockey sur air se trouve ici. Un super endroit pour les enfants!

Le pont de la salle à manger a une grande table et des chaises pour les repas en plein air. La terrasse de la cuisine est à côté de la baie pour de superbes couchers de soleil et un coin salon pour profiter de votre verre de vin.

Toutes les chambres ont une télévision Il y a un lecteur DVD, une chaîne stéréo, une grande télévision à écran plat, un gril à gaz, une douche extérieure ouverte, une machine à glaçons sur pied et une connexion Internet sans fil (apportez votre ordinateur portable!)

La piscine est accessible du 1er avril au 1er octobre et le bain à remous est disponible toute l'année.

This is our second time staying in the house. It is perfectly located right on the beach on the southern end of the island. The kitchen is absolutely the best equipped kitchen in Sandbridge. It is clean, up to date, has every appliance we needed. In fact we ended up cooking most of our meals there. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful.The outdoor pool is the perfect way to end the day.We started each morning on the deck with a cup of coffee watching the Cormorants and Dolphins in the water.I wish we could have stayed longer!

Its main entry had a spiral staircase which is hard on older prople and people with bad knees. I feel they should let you use the elevator even if you needed to pay sn extra fee.The master was huge.The third floor only had 1 bathroom for 2 bedroom and the bunk room which 8 people were using.Kitchen and living area was nice with nice balconiesWe had trouble with plumbing in the bathroom but the owner was able to get it fixed. The exterior could use a good power washing to spruce it up and remove the many spiders. There were also ants in the basementThe location was amazing and we all did have a good time My granddaughter 7, did love the spiral staircase to the loft and claimed it as hers!

We had a great week staying at Wish List. Couldn’t beat the ocean view and access to the beach and the pool entertained us for hours! Our multi-general family all had a great time despite Elsa making a quick appearance! The house had everything we needed!

Awesome family vacation

Perfect beach house setting for our family of 18. Plenty of sleeping and bathroom accommodations. Rooms for the kids to hang out in. Hot tub and pool right outside and beach just steps away. Never a crowed beach, which had a very private feel to it. We loved our stay.

This house is perfectly situated right on the beach so you can truly relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and view. I travel quite a bit and I have not been to any property I enjoyed more than Wish List. This house has every necessary amenity to keep every member of your family happy on vacation. Beyond the beautiful home, amenities and perfect ocean view, the homeowners are available, responsive, and gracious. I rate this house and vacation experience a 10 out of 10!

Family/friend trip

The trip was great and the house is in the perfect spot. We did have ants but the owners got someone out to treat them right away. The upstairs air struggled to keep up with the high temps of the week but the bottom 2 floors were ice cold! We’d definitely visit again

Great time at Wish List

There were 15 of us, 8 adults and 7 grandchildren age 9 to 16. The house was perfect for our vacation. Really enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and the pool table - something for everyone. Great being able to walk out to the uncrowned beach. Beds were comfortable. Linda was very quick to respond to our questions. We had a wonderful stay and would do it again.

Started out iffy but ended good.

When we arrived at the property it was a dirty mess, I contacted the owner and she sent the cleaning crew out the next morning and all was well. The location of the house is great, the beach in front of the house wasn’t too crowded and there was plenty of room in the house for the group of 16 that we had.

Amazing house in perfect location!

Linda is the best! This house is located in the perfect spot in Sandbridge. Right on the beach with an amazing view and the perfect size for a large group. Multiple bedrooms spread out throughout the house allowed everyone to have a quiet spot to sleep with a lovely common area to be together. Pool table, full game closet and the pool and hot tub made for the perfect weekend! Also walkable to a local resturant which was so much easier than loading everyone into cars. Linda was a terrific communicator and really made this stay absolutely perfect.

Wonderful Family Home!

This home is exactly as it is pictured! It's an older home with a great unique layout. The rooms were spacious and gave us plenty of room for everyone. Our family of 14 enjoyed the views, the pool and had a wonderful time. The location is amazing - just far enough on Sandbridge to not feel overwhelmed with tourists. The other people using the beach were sparse and it was very private. Several days we went into Virginia Beach and it was a short drive to all sorts of attractions. The location was ultimate! The owner of the house gave us all of the info we needed to make our stay pleasant and Linda was very kind and easy to work with! We loved our week at the house!

Location location location

Location was perfect. We had a fantastic time. Such decisions to be made...pool? hot tub?...ocean? ... Beach... shoot some pool? House size was perfect for us. We thought we would have 19 or 20 people but we only had 17 that could come. House is not new. If you only want new and shinny, this is not the place for you. I would go definitely go back.

We aim to please. You can have a quiet beach retreat on a private beach or a short drive to Virginia Beach proper for a souvenir shopping restaurant filled week. So many choices. So happy you enjoyed the house John. We hope to see you back

Sandbridge Oceanfront Getaway!

We had a great time with extended family in this house and the house next door. There were plenty of beds and the hot tub was amazing. The house was clean and the owner very responsive. Ideally I would like to see the listing updated with some pix of the bunk room and new kitchen and floors - we were confused about what bathrooms would accommodate the bunk room when assigning beds. The VRBO listing should also be updated to include that linens are indeed provided as we scrambled to bring linens for each bed since we had family traveling from all over the US and abroad.. The owner was VERY friendly and responsive. We will definitely consider returning in the future. Thank you!

A relaxing vacation on the beach!

This house on the beach was perfect for my family. This was my family's first time staying on the beach. It made it so easy for everyone to go to the beach when they wanted and my parents could watch the beach from the house or come down if they felt up to it. The house has amazing views from the lower deck off of the master bedroom and upstairs balcony as well as from the living room. We watched the dolphins swim by at all times of the day. We loved the kitchen it was so nice to cook in and still be able to socialize with the family in the open plan of the living room and dining room off the kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table, puzzles, and board games, available in the house. The house has so much character! you can tell by all the pictures and other things on the wall that the owners are very good people and that they would be fun to get to know. My family and I highly recommend this unique beach house that truly embraces the originality of Sandbridge.

great location and beach, fair condition house, very responsive owner

The house 3 stars, the owners responsiveness and help was 5 stars. the house is old, the photos on the website kindda misleading, the cleaning was not great, and we were unlucky as there was mosquitos all over the area that month (or season!). again the house is old, so sometimes no matter how well you clean it, the carpet and bathrooms will still "look" not clean. one of the AC units were broken, told Linda and she sent HVAC service within an hour, and they fixed it. also she sent the cleaning lady, power wash and the pool guy the minute we asked for. The beds were comfortable which is an important thing for me. overall, we enjoyed the stay, great access to the beach, loved the outdoor space, specially the sand area next to the pool, the kids did not need to go to the beach to play in the sand, they kept going from the pool to the sand while we are sitting/BBQing in the same place! we did have so much fun.

I’m so glad this family had such a great time by the pool, deck and sand areas. This is the way we like the house to be enjoyed The house has been in my family for several years We have children and grandchildren and friends of children that love it there. The house is a beach house it’s meant to be enjoyed. With all the families that visit during the season (little ones with sippy cups etc accidents happen). The carpets and house start the season professionally cleaned and the house and linens cleaned every week but by the end of the season needing professionally deep cleaned again Other than the exterior pictures the pictures posted were taken just 3 seasons ago and with the new furniture new flooring new mattresses we will be posting a few new photos soon!

PopPop an Nana’s Dream Week

We had the best week! Couldn’t ask for a better location. A fenced yard with pool and a sand area was perfect for the kids, especially when the adults were not ready to go to the beach. When we were ready to go to the beach it was only steps away. The beach was not crowded and we didn’t have to fight for space. We saw dolphins every day, a few times a day. So much fun was had back and forth between the ocean, the pool, and the rec room! Kids and adults were definitely ready for bed each night. This house was perfect for our large family. We had our own suite. Each of our adult children had a room. And the grandchildren had the “dorm” room or slept in their parent’s room. We could retreat to our space or hang together in the common areas. The hosts have recently done many renovations/updates to the home. They could not have been more helpful with our questions. They were wonderful to work with leading up to our arrival and throughout the week. If you are looking for a beach vacation without the crowds, this is a perfect place to stay!

This was a large family with many small children. Kim was a wonderful guest to work with and treated my home as if it were hers! I hope that Sandbridge calls them back soon ! Thank you!

Great Beach View/Access, Tiring Stairs

The view of the ocean and quick access to the beach were wonderful. And the pool was nice. Large fans in each room were welcome. The kitchen was well-equipped, except for no ice cream scoop or pizza cutter. :-) Not so wonderful: access to the top/main floor is either via an inside spiral staircase or a long outdoor staircase. The internet connection performance was very spotty. The small fridge behind the bar froze our soda and beer. Possibly because the freezer door is missing? The first floor rooms were not very clean and looked to show damage from flooding in the past. Having a large condo property nearby cause the beach to be crowded. One footer for the stairs up to the hot tub is washed out, hanging in the air. I would recommend: 1) fix/replace small fridge, 2) improve the Internet connection, 3) clarify in the listing that bad knees will be tough and/or make the elevator available to guests, 4) rehab the rooms on the 1st floor, 5) fix the hot tub deck stairs footer. We had an enjoyable week at the beach with our family, but this property was not the best fit for our family.

I’m sorry you had some issues at the house. I try to post pictures and descriptions about the staircases for that reason. I wish I could let my guests use the elevator but if it is not used properly, guests get stuck in the elevator or the small system that runs it shuts down. To have someone do repairs it may take a few hours or even a day It is very expensive to repair. It was safer and more cost effective to just ban the use for guests. We built it for my father as he became a quadriplegic in his later years As far as the steps to the hot tub, they are tied into the house as a deck would be, not requiring that first post Wasn’t aware of the small bar refrigerator, I will definitely check that out Thank you for your review. I appreciate your comments and will work on taking care of them

Family Vacation

Overall, great location, easy access to the beach and local restaurants within walking distance. Initially, upon arrival, the floors were still sandy and required additional vacuuming...which we did with the several vacuums in the house (more a reflection of the cleaning crew, but not unexpected at the beach and noted at several other properties we've visited). There were some ants, mainly in kitchen area (again common at the beach, resolved with a few ant traps). The house is large and plenty of sleeping space. Beds were comfortable. Nice game room with a pool table. The host was outstanding with timeliness of replies and attentiveness (broken dishwasher piece was replaced within 24 hours). Bathrooms were clean. Linens and towels were clean. Water pressure is a problem, with multiple showers running (bottom floor bathroom/washer running limits upstairs pressure). Internet is patchy modem resets necessary to reaquire signal strength. Works well otherwise (likely an issue with Cox cable and signal strength from ISP as the house wifi equipment is reasonable...ie google nest). Plenty of space for beverages with a large refrigerator in kitchen and multiple small units for drinks along with a separate wet bar off the side of the main room. Spiral staircase up to main level could be tricky, esp with luggage and people with mobility issues. Access to the elevatoray would have been useful with luggage. Overall, we had a great time, nice property and timely assistance from owners.

I’m glad you enjoyed the beach. I have the house treated quarterly for ants and spiders I will let them know about the ants I have had several plumbing companies for different reasons and they tell me every time when I ask about water pressure that Sandbridge is known for low water pressure. I guess we’ve learned to live with it Cox seems to be an ongoing problem and unfortunately it is the only choice for that area. They are coming out Monday again for an issue I was having remotely with them Thank you for your review. I’ll keep working on the WiFi !

We vacationed often in Virginia Beach and loved the secluded beach areas of Sandbridge. We loved watching the dolphins play in the summer and the whales in the fall and winter. Our Black Lab loves to run the beach. Once our son graduated from college we decided to purchase a 2nd vacation home. We love it here.

We bought this house because it was ocean front, no carrying blankets and coolers or leaving the beach for bathrooms everything is located where you don't have to pack up and leave with the kids! Nap time, no problem you have the decks and the house behind you!
We wanted to share this house with our family and friends all year long and we have since 2000! It's an older home, updated and maintained every year. Our family loves it here. If you want to relax and enjoy the beach and pool this is the place.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Adding the pool Oceanside only increased the pleasure of living in this beautiful setting. Long walks on the beach and leisurely dinners on the oceanfront only added to our enjoyment of the property.
