The stay was pretty good other than the scratching of an animal that we heard from the ceiling early in the morning. There is a ton of mold inside of the air conditioning unit right beside the bed we did not use it .

Good evening ma‘am while I cannot do anything about the squirrels that run around the trees and the yard, I did inspect the AC unit and was quite bothered to find that it was in that state. I don‘t know what happened with that as guests are not supposed to use it. The loft has central air and heat and that wall unit is just a backup in case the central unit fails. How that got missed I cant say and I apologize for the inconvience. I promise if you stay with us again, the situation will not repeat itself. I hope you had a safe journey. Respectfully yours, Mike.

This place was perfect for a friend's get away. The sofa sleeper was very comfortable as well! Very cute loft, very clean and an added bonus with a washer and dryer. Highly recommend!!

Easy check in. Very spacious, nice large kitchen. Bed was super comfortable, bathroom was nice. Everything clean. Convenient to grocery stores, shopping and Savannah and Tybee Island. Can't wait to come back!

Nice stay!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The window unit air conditioner kept the space nice and cool, and provided good “white noise” for sleeping. The location was only 6 minutes from family members who live in Savannah. We were pleased with our experience. The price was better than some comparable apartments.

Quaint getaway

Needed lodging for a couple of nights on Wilmington Island. This cozy cottage was perfect. Cute, cozy and quiet. Nice kitchen and bathroom with a roomy living area. Will definitely try to stay again when in the area.

Perfect location

I think this was the perfect location for my husband and I for our trip. It was located just 15 minutes to downtown Savannah & Tybee island also not far from Hilton head if you choose to go there as well. The house was cozy and Mike was nice and quick to respond when we had questions. I’d definitely recommend this location it was very affordable as well.

Overnight Stay

We are road-tripping, and got into Savannah/Wilmington fairly late after a long day of driving. We realistically only needed a place to stay overnight before venturing into Savannah, and then continuing our road trip. The property, in our opinion is great for an overnight stay, and probably not much more. Its in a great area, close to Tybee/Savannah.

I'm curious if there was something wrong with the property itself to rate a 3 star review. The property is centrally located between downtown and the beach (15 minutes either way). We have had multiple guests stay with us for a week or more and gave us 5 star reviews and had a couple of people return. If there us an actual specific reason for a 3 I would really like to know so I can correct the problem. I'm glad you stayed with us and wish you a safe and wonderful road trip.

I can best describe the unit as comfortable loft apartment. It's basically a mother-in-law suite above a free-standing garage about 50 feet or so from the main house. The owners could not possibly be nicer or more accommodating. They are responsive when you have questions, and proactively offer to help with whatever you need, but they otherwise respect your space. Perfect demeanor! The closest thing to a negative I can think of was the arrival. I got there at night, after a LONG drive in, and finding the place was a challenge. It's one of a handful of properties on a circular dirt road. It was dark, the properties weren't clearly marked, and the one I "thought" was it had a police car in the driveway which kinda threw me. "Why would my rental have a police car in the driveway? This can't be it." I texted the owner and, in fact, that was the right place. I found the side door into the unit and took my bags in. This is the other negative. Their dog, which was in the sunroom closest to the driveway, barked bloody murder at me like I was an intruder. With my nerves already shot from a long drive (not the owners' fault or problem), and trouble finding the place in the dark, I must admit that I wasn't feeling that. So the stay got off to a bit of a rocky start. But, after that first evening, I didn't hear another peep from the dog and the owners could not possibly have been better. Like a good waiter at a fine restaurant. Present, attentive, but not smothering. I would return!

Thank you Matt for the kind words. As to my Shepherd /Husky, his name is Chewy and i do apologize for his barking at you. I can absolutely understand after a long drive that can be down right frazzling. As to my squad car? Maybe I should put that in the dIrections. Im in the process of putting driveway lights in the, err, driveway. Yikes i hate how that sounds. Im glad you enjoyed your stay and I hope you will consider staying with us again.
