We enjoyed our stay, the host thought of a lot of little things to make the stay good. (Providing the use of a cooler, beach towels, etc.)The location of the property was very good, although the road is horrible to get to the property. The one thing we did not like was that there was not a dresser to put clothes in - so clothes that could not be hung (swimsuits, etc.) had to be kept in a suit case. We did have a problem with the hot water, but the host was very quick to remedy the situation.

LOVED the pool! Great location, close to beaches & a short drive to George Town. Location of house on VRBO map was a bit off but still easy to find. Could use more shelving in bathrooms for toiletries & maybe a dresser in 2nd bedroom. Overall happy, would stay here again.

Lovely house and fabulous pool

We had a great stay! Sasha was responsive and helpful. The highlight was the beautiful pool, which the kids loved. The house was quiet and private, close to town and beaches. We appreciated the availability of beach toys, cooler, chairs, etc. Great place for our family of 5 for a few days!

Family Getaway

The property was exactly what we were looking for. Off the beaten path, quiet, this allowed us to day trip exactly as we had hoped for. Afternoons by the pool, close proximity to grocery stores in town. Plenty of room, the beach gear was fantastic, everything was clean and organized. Highly recommend for young families wanting to explore the island.

Great Pool!

This house was fully set up to make our family vacation easy and fun. It was clean and well maintained. We appreciated the laundry, dishwasher, and water filtration system. Kids dishes, cooler bags, beach chairs, towels, toys, and private pool were great to have. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Apple Chateau. The house is very nice and well appointed. It was clean and nicely laid out as well. The beds seemed to have brand new mattresses which were amazingly comfortable. There were also lots of items for the beach (umbrella, chairs, sand towel, coolers, snorkel gear, etc.!)We had good internet and the connected TV had lots of options (if you want to spend time watching!)While the location isn’t on the beach, from this location it is centralized so easy to go north to the resorts and docks for tours or go south to Georgetown or even down to Little Exuma. We also found our favorite beach was just down the hill from the place. (Jolly Hall beach… we saw two manta rays going by for hours!)Sasha was also an amazing host. She was responsive for any and all requests or questions. We reached out a few days before the trip and she connected us with her person to have groceries in the place before we arrived since we were there on a holiday.)We had a great time and would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Exuma. Ps. The roads getting to the place we’re in need of repair but I’m sure they will get fixed at some point. Just good to know the first time you drive there! Take it slow.

A wonderful stay

The stay was absolutely wonderful. The property was just as advertised, it was clean. It has everything we needed from beach towels to beach bags and chairs. The location was perfect, it was close to downtown Georgetown and not far from the airport. Any question we had, Sasha answered very quickly. I highly recommend this house. It was a very pleasant and quiet location, we look forward to coming back soon!

Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations given the price and how the property is presented online.Upon arrival, we encountered several cleanliness and maintenance issues, both outdoors and indoors. The pool area had items left behind, which made us uncomfortable using it, as it gave the impression it had not been properly prepared for our arrival. Some outdoor furniture was damaged and unusable. Inside the house, cleanliness was inconsistent, particularly in the kitchen, where there was visible dust and insects inside cupboards. Several provided accessories also required cleaning before use.To be fair, the bedrooms initially appeared acceptable; however, for our own peace of mind, we chose to wash the bed linens again upon arrival. We stayed for the duration of our booking only because we had no reasonable alternative accommodation on short notice, not because the condition met expectations.We travel regularly as a couple and as a family, and this is the first time we have felt the need to leave such feedback. We do not enjoy writing negative reviews; however, given the situation and the lack of resolution despite documented concerns and exchanges with management, we felt we had no other reasonable option.This is disappointing, as the property has good potential. With more consistent cleaning standards, better attention to detail, and improved guest communication, the experience could be significantly better for future guests.

Firstly, as you would notice before, we have all 5 star reviews on both Vrbo and Airbnb. This particular guest, arrived a day late due to airline issues. I made contact with the guests during their stay which I always do and they stated that everything was going good and they are enjoying! Upon RETURN home after 4 days after I requested a review, they requested a refund due to their missed day and stated that there was a cleanliness issue, particularly ontop of the refrigerator was dusty. That in itself explains the type of clients I had to deal with, if they have to climb ontop of something to look ontop of the refrigerator. I have been a property manager on the island for 14 years and this is my personal property. I pride myself in what I have to offer, and actually, I manage no property that has less than 4.5 star reviews. Even though some are older properties, most of the reviews are how clean and neat the properties are! I am very sympathetic towards fraudulent people like you and I hope that you find happiness.
