Beautiful Chalet!

This is a beautiful cabin/Chalet in an excellent location. Clean, comfortable , well stocked with whatever you need. The owners were easy to communicate with and would do anything to make your stay better. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy Chalet

New Years trip to the mountains! Chalet is cozy and roomy for a family of 4 young kids. Large kitchen and living area for a cabin of its square footage. Kids had plenty of room to play without feeling crowded.

Awesome time

We had an awesome time staying in this cabin. It was me and my husband with our 2 dogs. The cabin is a bit outdated but the owners are working on it. Laura and Stewart are very nice and will answer any questions you have or any issues that arise. There are games on site in case you want to stay in and have a family game night and they are about 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. We will rent from them again.

Cozy Gatlinburg Cabin - A Perfect Mountain Getaway

I recently stayed in this charming cabin in Gatlinburg, and it was everything I hoped for and more! The place was incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Whether relaxing by the fireplace, enjoying the well-equipped kitchen, or lounging on the cozy furniture, everything was designed for comfort and convenience. The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes away from the stunning Smoky Mountains. It was the perfect base for hiking, exploring, and taking in the breathtaking views of the area. After a day of adventures, coming back to the peaceful cabin was such a treat. The cabin was spotless and well-maintained, and the hosts clearly put a lot of care into ensuring guests have an excellent experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing mountain retreat that’s close to everything Gatlinburg has to offer, this is the place to book. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location...close by Gatlinburg DT...pet friendly!! great hosts

HOST: Thank you Stewart and Laura for being such an amazing hosts and following up and offering to overstay since we checked in a bit late ...thanks again...however we had to leave before the check out time as we had other plans. PROPERTY: this was our second trip to Smokys and we loved the chalet.. location was perfect since we had activities planned in Gatlinburg Downtown...we even did an auto tour of the smokys and a short hike as well...very convenient to DT yet it will give you a Smoky mountain vibes and amongst the woods feeling...cozy....drive way is not that steep as compared to other properties we saw, any car will make it through ! Everything is available at the property. We will definitely come back soon....

Wonderful cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy little A frame! It was perfect for us and our young son. The location is convenient to Gatlinburg and GSMNP while still feeling like a fairly secluded mountain cabin. There are neighbors that you can see, but they are not close enough that we really noticed them. The check in process was easy and the cabin was clean and equipped with all the basic things you would expect. There was even firewood set out next to the fireplace! As other reviews have mentioned the downstairs bedroom is separated from the kitchen by a curtain, rather than a door, but that was not a problem for us at all. The only two negatives we found were that the bedding was in kind of rough shape and that there were no working smoke detectors, which seemed like a bit of a hazard given the wood burning fireplace. Otherwise we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

This cabin was a perfect place to stay. We doordashed all but one meal because we were so comfortable there. It’s in a great location. I told my husband that if it ever came on the market I want to buy it.

My family and I had a great stay at the Mountain Springs Chalet in Gatlinburg, TN. The cabin was very homey and made us feel comfortable. It had all the personal touches you would want and was clean and provided relaxation in the mountains. Definitely recommend staying here. We really loved our stay and hope to come back and visit!

Fantastic home and location!

So happy we selected this home for our recent stay. The description is very accurate, but I would add the following to the list of benefits. 1. Location: The home is up in the mountains, but also very convenient to both the Smoky Mtn park entrance and the start of Gatlinburg's busy parkway. It was a real delight to find out that the home was so close to the entrance to the Gatlinburg trail, since this is the only nearby trail in the park that allows dogs, and we had our terrier with us. 2. Peace and Quiet: Even though the home is surrounded by other nearby houses/cabins, there is absolutely no noise issues with the location. Absolute peace and quiet...it was perfect. 3. Cleanliness: The owners are clearly diligent to make sure the place is very clean for our arrival. 4. Communication: The home owners are very quick to respond and add a nice personal touch with all of their communications. Great place, I highly recommend!

Our family (which includes a 13 and 10 year old) absolutely loved our stay. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We really appreciated the firewood that was available for us. We were looking for a small cabin in the mountains, and it exactly what we got!

We are fortunate to be able to share five (5) very special places that offer five (5) different Smoky Mountain experiences and which we personally enjoy in Gatlinburg, near Dollywood and just off the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Pigeon River Spur. We are the owners and not a management company and we are blessed knowing wonderful people for over 10 years who help us with cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and solving any issues or challenges that may arise. We work together to keep our cabins in excellent condition!

Mountain Springs is one of these magical places. We also refer to Mountain Springs as our Son, Andrew's chalet - a beautiful place he found that we both enjoy and take care of for him while he is living his dream on the west coast.

Mountain Springs Chalet is yours alone during your stay. We will make arrangements for your stay and you will not see nor hear from us unless it is your desire. When you do contact us, we do our very best to be accessible and responsive from the time you book with us throughout your stay with ideas and recommendations to enjoy what Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park have to offer and to address any needs or concerns. The previous owners were a beautiful elderly couple who filled Mountain Springs Chalet with their love. They called the chalet, Dove's Nest and kept it as their vacation home for their exclusive use for many years.

Mountain Springs Chalet is a private chalet with an excellent location offering the alpine atmosphere and charm of one of the few remaining classic Gatlinburg A-frames. It is very close to Ober Gatlinburg, sitting above downtown Gatlinburg with very easy access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Pigeon Forge / Sevierville via Campbell's Lead to the Gatlinburg By-Pass. During your stay, you also have access to the Chalet Village Clubhouses, tennis courts, game room, workout room and seasonal pool.

Mountain Springs Chalet is named after the mountain springs that originate from a small cave across the driveway from the front door. This mountain spring flows underneath the driveway and emerges on the hillside to flow into a Cove Mountain stream that makes it way to Buckberry Creek.

Buckberry Creek is a large creek that runs across from the chalet down the mountain to the Little River in downtown Gatlinburg. It is fed by our mountain springs (coming out of the mountain across from the front door that runs underneath the driveway and down the hillside) as well as many other spring-fed streams including a stream at the foot of the driveway. There are multiple places to sit on the banks and rocks and enjoy the water flows and aquatic life. Buckberries, as well as blackberries, grow along the creek and the mountain-side.
