This lovely 3 bedroom, 1 bath rancher in Dagsboro, De is located on a dead-end street and only 7.5 miles from Bethany Beach! The perfect getaway for family or friends to enjoy the various nearby Delaware beaches and downtown area of Dagsboro! There are plenty of restaurants nearby and activities to do near downtown or you can unwind on the rear porch and enjoy the wildlife and sunsets across the farm field behind the home. This home sleeps up to 6, has plenty of off-street parking and countless amenities to make your stay feel like home!
John had everything available to us in case we forgot something. House was clean and ac cranked out cold during our hot stay. Only 10 miles to the beach!
The house was really cute and had a really nice homey feel that we really enjoyed. The neighborhood was nice and calm, and the beach was a short drive away. Definitely recommend if you want to enjoy the beach while also enjoying the quiet and relaxation of a home away from home.
The house is located on a quiet street with a large open field behind the garage. Very nice sunsets and breezes. The nearby town has a nice park, a great local restaurant and even a retro movie theater. The house is comfortable and in good condition--and a bit larger than I expected. It reminded me of my uncle's house growing up, and no doubt the house has seen lots of happy times. John is great to communicate with, and everything works as it should. Thanks, John!
Accommodations were nice and clean. Complimentary wine upon arrival was a welcome touch. Milage to Bethany beach was 10 miles not 7.5 as stated. I was however, perplexed as to why I had to strip bed and place sheets in the bathtub along with towels; and sanitize counter tops before leaving, when I payed $120 for a cleaning fee. I was also asked to take trash cans to end of driveway Tuesday evening for next morning pick-up.
I would recommend renting this house for its price point as long as one doesn't mind the 10 mile drive to the beach if that is your reason for visiting.
I am originally from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, but moved to Dagsboro, De to get away from the city and enjoy the peace and calm of this neighborhood. I also am an avid boater and fisherman and wanted to be closer to the beaches.
There is nothing better than enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning, or a beer in the evening, on the back porch and overlooking the beautiful farm field. The neighborhood is calm and quiet with kind neighbors.
