Fantastic host! We had everything we needed and then some! The house was super clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Great neighborhood too. We will stay there again if we get down there once more.
This was our second stay at Chesterton House. Itâs a perfect place for us â close to everything, well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable. Our hostess is a very good communicator and also very accommodating.
Nice place clean and obviously recently updated. Owners are very communicative and sent personal number to call with any emergencies.
The only thing Iâd add to the place (this time of year) is a floor mat inside the door for snowy wet boots.
Thank you would definitely stay again
This was perfect for my son and I to visit Benedictine for a few days. Very close to everything, quiet street and neighborhood. Spotless interior and well supplied with conveniences. Queen bed and couch both comfy to sleep on. Temp got down close to zero overnight and we stayed toasty warm. My only wish was for some ice cube trays so we could make some ice - but we just roughed it ;) Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks!
We enjoyed our time at this house. It was as listed and very clean. We were able to explore the town (walking) and Benedictine College (where our daughter was at a week-long conference).
We are glad we stayed at this house and would definitely stay there again.
Our hostess was easy to contact and very helpful. We were able to cook easily, thanks to everything she had the kitchen stocked with. I also appreciated the ability to do laundry.
THANK YOU!
My husband and I stayed here while we visited our sons at Benedictine College and this house exceeded our expectations! It is was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware and bathroom had all the essentials including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and hair dryer. The big round dining table was perfect for us to sit around and visit with our boys. If we had wanted to play games or do puzzles, there were many there to choose from. The bed and comforter were very comfortable. My favorite part was probably the big front porch with the rocking chairs. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the whole process from booking to checking in and out was very easy. I hope to stay here again next time we visit especially since it is so close to the campus.
Very nice house. Clean and exactly what was described. Communication was outstanding with the owner. I cant wait to see the expansion so we can bring more people with us next visit as this is a place I would book again.
My husband and I went to Atchison for our sonâs graduation. We were overjoyed upon entering the newly renovated, beautiful decorated and spotlessly clean home just blocks from campus! The best surprise though came later that evening : the bed which was more comfortable than my own at home and the awesome shower! Kelly was so helpful - She was so accommodating with check in and check out and replied so quickly to any questions I had! Our friends came by one evening and asked for the info as they want to use it for future visits to their other kids at BC! A truly perfect stay!
The house was perfect for our needs in visiting BC. Kelly was a joy to meet and easy to work with. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area
Our daughter plays soccer for Benedictine College. We bought this house because it's six blocks from Legacy Field. We love walking along the red bricks under the large trees to her games.
The home is a pleasant mixture of old architectural details with high ceilings and thick crown molding but updated throughout. Although convenient to everything, the home is quiet and restful.
