Fully Renovated Historic Home with bluff views of Missouri River & Valley
A front porch with a view that rivals the most beautiful in the Midwest. Our home is set in a lovingly cared for historic neighborhood perched on the bluff of the Missouri River in the Charming town of Atchison Kansas - Home of Benedictine College. We renovated our home with families in mind, thereâs plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax including three separate outdoor spaces Neighborhood amenities are plentiful, from access to walking trails or a short walk to local shopping, restaurants, and seasonal farmers markets. Our favorites include neighborhood grocery van Dykes, and the River House restaurant with a beautiful view of the Missouri River. Not to be missed is the nationally recognized Amelia Earhart birthplace home and Museum which is on the block
Returned to Atchison for a family milestone event and this location accommodated two separate families very comfortably. Amenities as advertised. Home was nicely refinished and nice location for walking into town. Very enjoyable.

Comfortable restored home with hilltop view of the Missouri River and valley, in a well-established and stable neighborhood adjacent to the Amelia Earhart birthplace and museum. Water heater needed attention, but otherwise was enjoyable two-night stay.
We had a historic adventure through our mothers past. We learned a lot about the rich history of Atchison and some of the infamous hauntings! Home was beautifully detailed and nicely appointed with so much space. Neighborhood is lovely and the Amelia Earhart home is next door. AC was a big plus with the hot days. Beds were very firm and pillows hard, we like softer so werenât comfortable to us. Overall, we highly recommend this newly renovated charming home.
Our stay in this home was fabulous! Everything that you expect and more! It was a beautiful home, very comfortable and more than we could have asked for! Our daughter was getting married and we had our other daughter and her family stay there in the upstairs. The bride and bridesmaids got ready on the 1st floor and it was fabulous! We took pictures at the house after the wedding! A beautiful background!
