The Washington in Historic Downtown Beaufort

(Also see “The Harrington” for the upstairs condo.) This ground floor apartment has everything you need for a cozy Beaufort getaway. Both hip and historic, it is located in the heart of the Northwest Quadrant neighborhood in the walkable historic district. The 500 square foot apartment with 10' ceilings, large windows, dark navy walls, concrete floors, and chic furnishings is bold and handsome.
The small bedroom (only enough room for the bed) offers a queen bed and small closet. The on suite bath provides a tub/shower, toilet and sink. The kitchen offers a fridge/freezer, ice maker, full oven and cooktop, toaster, and microwave. Use the Keurig or French press to enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious ground floor porch. There is a small breakfast table with adjustable leaves and a comfortable yet sturdy couch to catch up on all your favorite shows on the smart tv. Stackable washer dryer provided in the closet of the kitchen. Space for one car is provided off street. Additional on street parking is available one block away on Duke St.

Absolutely worth staying here !!!! The moment you open the door it’s bright with 10ft sealing , grand windows and timeless craftsmanship throughout the house. Beautifully decorated you feel at home. Even though it’s a tiny kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast or dinner we stay for a week and I prepare several meals. The host is so gracious. She provided plenty of coffee, plenty of towels sheets, toilet paper, paper towels pretty much all the essentials was there very grateful. Prior to this we stayed a week at small cottage in Beaufort that was manage by TideWatch vacation property management company. I will never do that again. Unless you enjoy to read a mile loang instructions on check in -check out you only be given one towel per person , one toilet paper, one paper towel no coffee, no salt or paper, basically no essentials and that was a week of stay no thank you This little house is a jewel The Neighborhood is quiet and safe just a few blocks away from the bay , all the shopping and restaurants and it’s such a beautiful morning walks if you like a little exercise. We enjoyed it tremendously and definitely be back. Thank you.

We really loved the place.The house is beautifully restored and decorared. Beautiful just as pictured! Great location while visiting granddaughter at USCB college. Would definitely stay again! Loved that it had a parking spot and while I am not a coffee person has a great coffee bar!

An absolutely beautiful property in pristine condition. Emily and her family were responsive and thoughtful, and the property had everything we could want. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk all over the historic district. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

My mom and I were attending the marine boot camp graduation and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This was perfectly located and very cozy. It had everything we needed and the host was easy to get in touch with. Will stay here again if we need a getaway. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Historic Beaufort!

We absolutely loved our time at this charming property in downtown Beaufort. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the waterfront, shops, and some of the best restaurants in town. We enjoyed peaceful morning walks through the neighborhood.The home itself was beautifully maintained and had all the comforts we needed. It was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated with touches that reflected the local charm. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t feel like dining out.Emily is the best and was communicative and friendly, offering great recommendations and making sure our stay was smooth from start to finish.If you’re looking for a relaxing, walkable, and memorable stay in Beaufort, I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!
