This historic, turn-of-the-century home with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a huge, third-floor primary suite, and plenty of outdoor space is the perfect home away from home in Saint Paulâs most famous neighborhood. Our neighborhood, Summit Hill, is host to many of the most beautiful and historic gilded-age mansions built by some of our states most important families and titans of industry like the Pillsburys, the Daytons, and the Cargills. We are just a few minutes from Allianz field and downtown Saint Paul.
We all enjoyed our stay. It was a nice location and big enough for all of us to hang out.
A couple things I would like to suggest would be more hand towels & ones that preferably donât look like a rag with black pots all over them. Our toilet paper holder was broke and hand towel holder also broken. Other then that everything was nice,
We really enjoyed the central location and the amount of space we had so the teenagers could each have their own room. We took advantage of there being so many excellent places to eat within walking distance. Just looking at the homes in the neighborhood is fun, with the Govenor's mansion just a couple of blocks away.
We had an issue with the TV in my grandson's room. For some reason the power cord was missing. I contacted the managing company and the next day a cord was delivered by Amazon. It solved the problem. We stayed 8 nights and unfortunately had to live out of our suitcases. Each room had closets but very few hangers and no drawers or luggage racks available.
Beautiful old house was a great spot for large family group. Plenty of space for everyone, particularly loved the front porch with seats and swing. Location was convenient for the event we were attending but we could also walk to coffee and restaurants. Know that this is a city, so street traffic is a bit noisy at all hours, but thatâs a trade off for being so close to everything. We would stay again!
