You’re right—the mosquitoes have been particularly bad this summer across the Keys, especially near the water, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused. Steve, we are so sorry for the situation with the confetti during your stay. Unfortunately we did not realize how spread around the entire yard the confetti was from the previous guests and it took us several weeks to get it all cleaned up from the property because every time the wind blew it was carried on a new adventure. We did ask if you could remove any large pieces that may clog the pump system out of the pool. We apologize for the breakdown in communication between our rental staff and the pool technicians, they were notified of the pool needing an extra service call, but we did not hear back from the pool company or you, so we did not know they hadn't serviced the pool until we heard from you again Wednesday. We do ask guests to please stay in contact with us if something isn't right so that we can make sure if gets rectified! This is very uncommon for this home as our pool technicians are really meticulous. Again, we apologize that you didn't have the absolute best time possible, but we do hope you were able to enjoy yourselves!
