I knew that as a "value" property this place would be lacking in some areas. But certain things were inexcusable and it really felt like they were trying to see what they can get away with.
Immediately upon entering there was a half empty gatorade from previous occupants.
The thermostat was turned off in the bedroom so it was very cold, about 60, so I turned it to 70. We woke in the middle of the night and it was at least 80+ and we were feeling sick from how hot it had become. We had to briefly open a window and turn the thermostat back down to off. Spent the rest of the stay unable to sleep because it was so cold. So to recap, your options in the bedroom are: hotter than the surface of the sun, or too cold to sleep.
There is a kitchen, but if you plan to do any cooking you should bring EVERYTHING. There's about 20 knives but I only found one that could cut through an avocado, and only then it could barely do so and mutilated the avocado. There are salt and pepper shakers, but they were empty so that was helpful.
The pots and pans are an embarrassment. A cheap set from Costco would be a massive upgrade.
The bedroom was very dimly lit. I tried to turn a lamp on but it wasn't working--traced the power cord and it's not even plugged in and I didn't see an available outlet to even plug it in to.
The location is fantastic, however!
