Perfect location, easy ski in and ski out, great host!
We loved the Beach Haus and would come back in a heart beat. The location was perfect. The setup as described and we had everything we needed. Our children are intermediate skiers but made it down the blue run to ski home without difficulty. This was a huge plus!
The beach haus was the perfect spot for our holiday ski trip. It was our first time staying at a ski in ski out and it was truly incredible. The rental was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
It was freezing over MLK weekend when we stayed here and couldnât have been happier with it. Being able to stop in here midday from the slopes was a game changer. Great access to intermediate/challenging terrain that we enjoy. Cozy fire and well stocked kitchen to cook in. Highly recommend for couples or small families!
My 3 friends and I had a great time at the Beach Haus. The cleaning crew was there when we arrived, and they let us put our bags inside while they finished cleaning the place. It is a true ski-in-ski-out. Location was great. We had our own parking spot. Only downside was that the Hot Tub was green and Sauna did not get hot. I would recommend going elsewhere if that is a main amenity you are looking for.
A cozy place, perfect for 3-4 people. It is a quick walk to Center Village (3 minutes) and, for beginning skiers, quick bus trip (5-10 minutes) to West Village. My young daughter and I stayed there and everything felt safe and easy. The unit is also fairly quiet because of the unique architecture without shared walls. The owner responded promptly to messages and seemed genuinely invested in guests having a good stay.
We made a late season ski trip to Copper, and this apartment was a wonderful base. The closest ski lift is right behind the building, and you can ski right up to the back of the building, so 10/10 on convenience. It is also about a 30 min drive to other ski areas in the vicinity, in case you wanted to explore.
The apartment sleeps 4, one couple + two singles (day bed/ trundle), and is stocked with most necessities, such as kitchen goods/supplies, shampoo, lotion.
Powers is pretty awesome at getting back over any questions and very detailed in his instructions.
The building hot tub did have a strange smell to it other than the Chlorine, so maybe have a word with the building management to replace the water more frequently.
All in all an great place to stay at an excellent location.
We had a wonderful stay at the Beach Haus last week. My husband, our two sons (ages 17 and 21), and I stayed four nights. Powers (the owner) shared helpful information before we arrived that made parking and check-in super easy. The condo was very clean and updated (it didn't feel old) the kitchen was well stocked (spices, oil, aluminum paper, Tupperware, cleaning supplies, etc.). We cooked dinner every night had everything we needed. It was a perfect size for the four of us. My husband and I slept in the bedroom and the boys on the trundle/day bed in the living room. There were lots of comfortable blankets and pillows. I used the laundry room which was just down the stairs from the condo; it was clean and inexpensive (1.00/load to wash and 1.00/load to dry). We also used the outdoor hot tub every day-it was large and never crowded when we went. The best part of the condo was the location! We were steps away from a small lift that had access to the Super Bee lift and at the end of our ski day, we could easily ski back to the building. It was easy for us to go in and have lunch and then be right back out on the slopes! It was a quick walk to Center Village; we thought we would be a ways from it, but it only took us a few minutes to walk over there. Powers was very responsive when I had questions. We would definitely stay again!
Overall liked the property, the only reason it didn't get the 5 full stars were just a couple of glitches. The hot tub is a bit of a walk from the building and the walks weren't shoveled until our last day and they hot tub had a minor algae issue. It was still open and we got in without problem but not ideal. The fireplace was nice but a bit intermittent in operation, and the unit is built over the drive so the floors are on the cold side so bring slippers. It's a nice spot for a couple and could work for a family of 3 or 4 but a bit on the tighter side. The communication with the property manager was good and easy to work with. Be aware that though it's ski in and ski out, you have to be a Blue/Black skier OR only interested in the Green Acre learning area to truly take advantage of that.
Great time staying at the Beach Haus, Really felt like home with all those little extras (always appreciate spices and oils for cooking). Great communication with the owner and easy access to lifts. Hot tub was also wonderful. Definitely would recommend and stay there again in the future. The great skiing never hurts as well.
Enjoyed the condo, hot tub, grill, humming birds and location for our day trips. Owner Powers is very professional. We definitely would book again!!! Great job Powers!!!
Property owner good to deal with when emailed, only complaint would be, could be a little cleaner, several crumbs in throw rug. Fire place did not light even though pilot was on. Did not contact owner so not complaining Iâm sure he would have responded and dealt with. Overall good stay.
Wow!! This place was so lovely and we couldnât be happier. The manager was very helpful and responsive. The place was stocked with everything we could need and the bed was so comfortable. 10/10
Charming condo! Perfect for us as a couple. The design of the home was cheery, cozy, simple and well thought out. We had everything we needed and even a few extra basics to help us get by in the kitchen. We even had a chilled six pack of beer waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived! Bring your own coffee, or do what we did and purchase it freshly ground from the locally owned Starbucks that's less than a 5 minute walk away. Our host was warm and friendly, and provided quick and thorough responses to all of my questions.
The Beach Haus was everything my wife and I needed for a comfy, relaxing vacation at Copper Mountain. It was clean, warm, comfy, and had great unique touches like a hanging chair and a cooler boombox in the living room! Powers has done a great job with the renovations and decorating. We were singing Beach Boys songs all weekend! Walking distance from Center Village and the bunny slopes, the Super Bee lift is also a accessible if you donât mind a slightly longer walk along the beautiful Colorado Trail. The bed and couch are super comfy, and the hot tub soothed our tired bodies after long days on the mountain. Although the Mountain Haus might be small for 4 adults, it was perfect for just my wife and I. We cant wait to visit again!
I'm a goofball ski bum who lived the dream for 8 years in Colorado skiing Vail, Beaver Creek, and Copper Mountain. My wife and I now live closer to Denver but we are up in the mountains as much as our schedules allow.
I more or less stumbled into what became The Beach Haus. The home resembles the summer beach homes built in South Carolina where my grandmother grew up spending her summers. The home was fully renovated by me over the span of two years. It's Copper's smallest standalone structure and is truly a unique property. It has character for days!
This is a true ski in/ski out unit situated in the middle/eastern side of the mountain. Pitchfork chairlift is right outside the house. You can take that up and ride down to Super Bee or you can walk to Center Village and access American Eagle/Flyer. In order to ski back to the house you will take Franks Fave and then turn off on the Condo Access Trail. It will bring you right to the steps of the house. Great terrain abounds!
