Birch Haven is a Lakefront log cabin on ATV/UTV Trail, with great views of nature and wildlife right out your door!

This rental cabin has it all! This secluded, vacation home rental is located in a peaceful, Northwoods lakefront setting in the Chequamegon National Forest on Spider Lake. This log home is centrally located in the Chequamegon forest yet only minutes from Clam Lake Wi where you can find gas, supplies and dining and only a few miles from Mellen and Clam Lake making it a great location from which to explore the area including nearby St. Peter’s Dome Overlook, Copper Falls State Park, Ashland, Bayfield and Lake Superior or head over to Hayward WI for unique shopping, family fun with go karts or even go to the Fishing Hall of Fame Museum.

Relax on the wrap around deck overlooking the lakefront, dock, fire ring and swimming area. There is a row boat included with the rental and the boat landing is right down the road. The lakeside dining room offers panoramic views of the outdoors. The island kitchen comes fully furnished with everything you need including drip coffeepot, microwave, oven/range, full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. Main floor bedroom has a beautiful log king bed and full bath. There is a loft bedroom with two twin beds and a half bath. The walkout lower level has two bedrooms, one bedroom with a queen size bed and 1/2 bath; one bedroom with a full-size bed, full-size futon and full bath. This charming cabin is one that you will want to come back to year after year.

Spider Lake is known for good fishing of Crappies, Panfish and Walleye and generally peaceful spot in Wisconsin’s Northwoods.

Birch haven was a great place and would highly recommend to anyone looking to be in seclusion. Very private, clean and plenty of room.

Fantastic home in the Northwoods. Very clean and all you need for a get away! Fully stocked kitchen with utensils and all cooking needs. Beds and bed rooms are awesome.

Awesome Vacation

The property was in a quiet location with no neighbors. This was awesome because we could only hear wildlife. I loved the lichen with all the pull out drawers and they had everything you would ever need. My girls loved the lift area because they had their own space but could still hear everything going on.

Beautiful setting for a beautiful cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. The cabin was spacious and had all the kitchen utensils needed. Every morning we had just a glorious view of the lake. I only wish they had most of the lights on a few major switches rather than having to turn on all the separate light fixtures. A very minor issue. Kitchen lights are tricky to find/ partially on the wallpapered wall behind the fridge and near the bakers rack- FYI. It does list that on the fridge, but I wasn't able to see it due to arriving in the evening and too dark in the kitchen to see it. Maybe a tent card on the island stating that? Otherwise a fantastic place that I would happily return to again. Thank you to the owners, staff and cleaning crew for a lovely stay.
