Northwoods Cabin sur Teal Lake dans la forĂȘt nationale de Chequamegon, Hayward, WI

Cette cabane est situĂ©e sur les rives du lac Teal - l'un des plus beaux plans d'eau du Wisconsin. ReliĂ©e au lac Lost Land par un canal, cette zone d'eau combinĂ©e reprĂ©sente plus de 2 500 acres de bonne pĂȘche. ConsidĂ©rĂ© comme l'un des «lacs tranquilles», le lac Teal a une limite de vitesse de 10 mi / h. C'est un lac Muskie de classe A avec d'excellents dorĂ©s, achigan et panfish. Les rives sont bien boisĂ©es avec de nombreuses Ăźles, baies, bancs de sable, herbiers et la riviĂšre Teal. Notre plage est la plus belle de la rĂ©gion - 450 pieds de sable naturel, trĂšs sĂ»r pour votre plaisir de baignade. Les motifs dans ce cadre paisible de Northwoods sont tous de niveau. Le chalet est situĂ© au bord du lac dans un cadre de villĂ©giature. Il y a 900 pieds carrĂ©s d'espace de vie comprenant 2 chambres Ă  coucher, salon / salle Ă  manger, cuisine, 1 salle de bain et vĂ©randa grillagĂ©e. Ce chalet accepte bien sĂ»r les animaux domestiques - mais nous avons besoin d'un registre des vaccinations Ă  jour et nous n'autorisons pas les races dangereuses. Il y a une table de pique-nique et un grill extĂ©rieur ainsi qu'un quai semi-privĂ© avec des siĂšges. Un bateau en aluminium de 14 pieds est inclus avec la location. Il est conçu par la nature pour la dĂ©tente. Il y a un grand terrain de jeu, une aire de jeux pour enfants et bien sĂ»r la plage exceptionnelle avec un radeau de plongĂ©e. A proximitĂ© se trouve une petite Ă©picerie avec du gaz, du pĂ©trole, des appĂąts et du matĂ©riel disponible. Des permis de pĂȘche peuvent Ă©galement y ĂȘtre obtenus. La ville de Hayward est Ă  environ 1/2 heure de route. Vous y trouverez tous vos besoins d'achat et de nombreuses activitĂ©s de loisirs. Le centre-ville historique de Hayward offre de nombreux magasins et restaurants Ă  visiter. Les attractions de la rĂ©gion comprennent: les parcs nationaux et d'État, de nombreux terrains de golf raffinĂ©s, l'Ă©quitation, la location de canoĂ«s, des tubes de riviĂšre, de nombreux restaurants raffinĂ©s, le casino LCO et de nombreuses autres activitĂ©s familiales.

We had the best weekend here!! You can’t beat the quiet, peaceful, location with the stunning lake front view. We spent most of the days out on the water that we rented from a nearby property and every evening around the fire pit. It was so nice that we could use the kayaks and other amenities around the property!! It was also such a plus that our dog could come along, she had the most fun of anyone. We are already talking about hopefully returning next summer!

From the get go the host called ,asked when we’d be there cuz she had her aunt hosting. I said I thought we couldn’t check in until 4 I said about 3 she said it was open and gave us the code.Her aunt knew nothing but that we were coming. Thank goodness I knew the total.asked card or cash she said cash and wrote me a receipt. Never submitted that we paid and Vrbo bugged me all week to pay our balance. Got to the cabin, blown away from the moldy, mildew smell. I opened every window to air it out. The view of the lake from the huge front window was beautiful.No curtains on main windows no privacy.The aunt gave me a big sheet to tack up the one big window in the front. Covered up the big glass door with a beach towel I brought and the glass window next to the door with a tall fan. I’m not a voyeur. So creepy! Every dish we pulled out to use was dirty with food and stuff on them. But a note said to wash them. Couldn’t have a fire she said we should have a pit and she did come down to check you can come down and have a fire by the big house and took most of the wood! We wanted peace and quiet in our cabin yard that was all dirt. We are in our sixties and can handle a fire. They gave us no info at all about the TV I went to the house there was a sign on the door call this number if you need anything. And it was on the door all week! No towel’s available or wash cloths or dish cloths or dish towels. Thank God for Walmart I went and bought them. We won’t be back Shame for that amt.

We loved staying here. The cabin was spacious, kitchen stocked, beds cozy. We liked being on the end of the resort and having our own beach and pier. Otters swam by, loons called, and the lake winds cooled off the cabin. A short drive to Clam Lake, you can see the elk! The cabin host is very accommodating. We would certainly stay here again.

We found the cabin cute, charming, and tastefully decorated. For it's age, the place is in quite good shape. There is a lot of nostalgia and family history attached to this resort. It was a lovely forest setting on the water. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only drawbacks were drain issues in the bathroom. My other companions complained about the short shower. It didn't bother me and the water was nice and hot. We rented the pontoon for a couple of days, which enhanced our trip. We enjoyed the fishing once we found the fish.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family loved this cozy cabin on the lake! The cabin was spacious and clean with all the amenities one could need. The two bedrooms and two pullout beds were perfect for our family of six-including our four teenagers. We were grateful for the John boat that came with the rental and had a blast fishing, exploring islands, and eagle sighting on the rented pontoon! The grounds were well maintained with a cute little beach and our own private dock. We were thrilled to find a cast iron pan for our fresh caught fish fry. The best part was that it’s pet friendly so the whole family could read and enjoy our little getaway to the north woods! Erin and her family were so friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely be back and are recommending to our friends!

Quick decision

We made a last-minute reservation due to COVID. We were happy with the accommodations. The cabin was rustic, clean, and just what we needed to feel like we got away for a few days. The sandy beach and dock were a plus, the kids and the dog enjoyed the water. The pictures are accurate, for the price, this is a lovely rustic get-away.

Peaceful retreat

Teal Lake is stunning. The resort was the perfect blend of fishing and swimming with their sandy shoreline! Erin was an excellent host, and we will definitely be back.

Fall Trip

It was a very cozy cabin tucked back in the Chequamagon National Forest, with a beautiful view of the lake. The owners are great to work with. Quick to respond and answer all questions we had.

A week on the lake.

This is our 3rd time visiting Teal Lake, but our first time at Back ‘O Beyond. We absolutely loved it! I gave it 4 stars in cleanliness because it’s a “cottage’. There will be bugs on the screens. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything! We also loved the owners and the extended family. They were all so friendly and accommodating. (Good family) The sandy beach was so nice and relaxing and I loved watching the kids swim out to the floating dock and play with the equipment. The sunsets were spectacular and my favorite part - listening to the loons. We’ll be back no doubt!

Nice time in the north woods.

Exactly what we expected staying at a cabin in the Hayward area. Nice lake, comfortable cabin, nice boat, friendly hosts. I would recommend highly.

Teal Lake Cabin

Cabin was a typical northwoods place. Older, but had everything you need. The lake and dock was nice and the level ground to it was wonderful. Hard sand bottom to swim and a nice floating dock . Spacious living area with directv. Needed some baking dishes, but ample pots and pans. Even cast iron fry pan to cook up the fish.Very nice.
