Thank GOD we only had to stay here one night! Will NEVER stay here again. Host communicated off-platform via email (not VRBO) and sent multiple conflicting communications, including 2 separate door codes as well as a request for a review prior to our arrival. We requested an early check-in, and the host tried to force us to pay an additional $50, so we had to adjust our plans and arrive much later than planned for our overnight. (We had already paid a high nightly rate for the one night we stayed). The host had until 9pm (when we arrived) to get this unit guest-ready, and it was an epic failure. Upon entry, there was hair all over the shower, nasty/stained rag that was dirty and hanging on the towel rack, no handsoap in the bathroom or anywhere on the premises. To make matters worse, the temperature inside was only 53° upon arrival. We contacted the host to ask how to switch their heat pumps from "A/C only" to "heat" (it was 29° outside), and let him know about the lack of cleanliness. Instead of helping or even apologizing, the host said I had a superiority complex. This was so awful. Antiquated bathroom, original from the 1970s with paint slapped over it. Shower head is set and stationary at 5' 2" - if you are taller than that, you won't be able to shower at this property without risking injury. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. It should be removed from this platform.
We appreciate your feedback and the conversation when very differently that you remembered I would be glad to post it as we have transcripts.
I offered to send cleaning crew (to clean one hair you found on bathroom floor) and AC repair at 11pm when you called. I offered 4 different times to get this done and each time you refused service and stated the issues over and over and explained how you are a host and you would never allow a hair to be in your home. I stated that did you just call me to make me feel bad and explain you were a better host than me? Then you hung up.
I understand you require a lot of care but refusing to accept help 4 times the 20 min conversation of you belittling me didn't seem to be getting the issue responded so it was a pleasure when you hung up on me.
We have had 40 - 5 start reviews this month on various platforms so this may be an issue with you having a bad day or just needing to vent on someone.
I would recommend you stay at your own unit from now on so you can pat yourself on the back and no one has to hear you the things you said to me on the phone.
I hope things get better for you and am glad as well you only stayed one night.
I will gladly offer new clients a refund to anyone that does not find our property clean and amazing.

I'm a dedicated Realtor & Broker. My wife, Kate, and our four adventurous kids share my enthusiasm for exploring new horizons.
Whether it's a much-needed parents' escape, a memorable family expedition, or a joyous reunion with friends, we embrace the journey.
We've had the privilege of staying in incredible homes, and are amazed by the warmth exhibited by hosts. I look forward to many more unforgettable adventures.
Embarking on this journey to our 1-bed, 1-bath retreat near UofO and Autzen Stadium was not just a real estate decision; it was a journey from the heart. The reason I fell in love with this neighborhood isn't solely due to its proximity to Autzen Stadium and Matthew Knight Arena, although that's a significant perk. It goes much deeper, as I watched our child fall in love with UofO.
This area, it's more than just a place; it's become a part of our story. The modern amenities, the pet-friendly vibe, and the easy access to city activities are wonderful, but it's the vibrant spirit of this place that truly captured my heart. Amazon Park, with its sprawling 100 acres of recreation, community centers, and natural areas, isn't just a park; it's a hub of community life.
The trails, the playgrounds, the sports courtsâit's like a symphony of experiences, offering something for everyone. This is a neighborhood where my passion for real estate meets my love for family and adventure. It's where the dreams of our child are nurtured, where they'll pursue education at UofO and experience the thrill of Autzen Stadium.
This neighborhood isn't just a location; it's a place where our story continues to unfold, one beautiful moment at a time.
Proximity to UofO and Sporting Events: The location's close proximity to the University of Oregon and iconic sporting venues like Autzen Stadium and Matthew Knight Arena provides a unique opportunity for students, sports enthusiasts, and visitors to enjoy the excitement of college athletics.
Amazon Park: The neighborhood's adjacency to Amazon Park, a sprawling 100-acre park offering a wide range of recreational activities, trails, and natural areas, sets it apart as an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and nature lovers.
Modern Amenities and Pet-Friendly: The property itself boasts modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay, and it's pet-friendly, accommodating those who like to travel with their furry friends, with a pet fee.
Community Spirit: The neighborhood exudes a vibrant community spirit, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment.
These four unique elements combine to make 2351 Willamette, Eugene, a distinct and appealing destination for various travelers and residents.
