Le # 2 Cedar Cottage est parfait pour un couple avec ou sans enfants. C'est moderne et rempli de draps et d'ustensiles de cuisine. Profitez de la vue sur le lac depuis le pont en grillant sur le Weber. Il est à seulement 15-20 minutes de toutes les parties de Madison, mais est situé dans un cadre rural. Louer des kayaks ou le ponton, vélo sur les collines, ou apporter votre propre bateau et profiter du lac Kegonsa 3000 acres peu fréquentés.
La chambre a un lit queen. Il y a aussi un grand canapé-lit dans le salon. Il y a une salle de bain complète et une cuisine complète. Le chalet est petit et le mieux adapté pour 2 personnes, mais de nombreux parents ont apporté 1 ou 2 enfants et ont été à l'aise. Animaux interdits. Cabin by The Lake

It was nice meeting Frank and getting his help with the "Luggage Cart." The Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, but most importantly it had a nice view of the lake. While the Cabin is in a Resort it was very private due to the layout of the Cabins and the covering trees and bushes. We would stay there again.

Amazing scenic getaway!

The cabin was very clean and perfect size for 2 people. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. Beautiful patio and view of the lake - didn’t get a chance to take the kayaks out because it was a little chilly but looking forward to it next time.

rustic beauty

The property is the recipient of very evident responsible care in the buildings and on the grounds. Its rustic feel adds to its charm and the lake and its view from the cabins completes the relaxing atmosphere.

Great rustic cabin near the lake

I enjoyed staying at this rustic cabin. It was clean and furnished to fit the wooded lakeside setting. The host, Frank is both friendly and kind. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton with fancy appliances, this is not your place. If you are looking for a friendly, low key, low stress cabin on the lake, this is your place.

Clean and comfortable for our trip to the Horse fair

The cabin was small for 1 adult and 2 tweens (ok, probably just small for Mom!). Would have liked more privacy. Property manager was extremely nice and attentive to the needs of guests. A bonfire pit would have been nice, but it was extremely windy so understandable.

Expectations beyond met

The cottage was super clean! It was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The cottage has a nice private balcony/patio with a great view of the lake. Nice town to visit and super close to Madison. Last but not least, Frank is a super nice guy! Very accommodating of our last minute cottage change and made a terrific recommendation for a supper club in Madison (Toby's). We would definitely book again!

Comfy and Cozy

Location, location, location. We loved this cottage/cabin on the lake. We would have preferred the closer unit, but we still had a lake view. The cottage is perfect for a couple to have a relaxing time. The living/kitchen area is not large, but had everything we needed. The deck was a great place to eat or just enjoy the outdoors. Frank is a wonderful caretaker. We used this as a base of operations for hiking and biking in the area, plus a football and hockey game in close by Madison.

Beautiful lake, nice cabin

Very nice. Frank was very helpful. Enjoyed access to kayaks, paddle boards, and pontoon. UsedWebber grill on deck. Was nice to make our own meals. Very accessible to folks we visited in Madison and Verona.

Nice little cabin

Cabin #2 at Crown Point Resort on Lake Kegonsa gave us a quiet place to relax and boat while visiting our daughter in Madison. Its a quick drive into the city and at the same time cooler, less humid on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and paddled our first SUP. Host Frank was helpful, knowledgeable of the area, friendly, always available ,while also unintrusive. Crown Point is now our preferred home in Madison and next time we will aim to visit a little earlier in the summer or late spring when the lake grass is short.

A gem tucked into the trees

What a great experience it was staying at Crown Point. It's an older cabin, but well loved. Frank who runs the place is fantastic. He had a chalkboard of local places to eat and activities. We ate at 3 he had listed and were impressed with the quality of all 3. The location is great just a few minutes out of Stoughton, which has all the amenities you could need, and about 20 minutes away from Madison. And then there was Harvey, the ambassador cat. I was sure he worked for the resort, but he was just the neighbor. He would come see us every morning and evening. He made the trip for us. But we're cat people. The one thing is we will bring our own pillows next time.

end of covid visit

Need Ed a separate place to stay from our kids who just had a new baby. This cabin was lovely, clean and quiet had all the basic necessities to make us comfortable. The portion Lake were lovely. Frank was very genuine and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend!

A lovely relaxing weekend in a quiet, peaceful lakefront oasis.

The resort and the surrounding area were lovely. We were greeted by Frank and immediately felt a part of the resort. He is hospitable and a genuinely nice person. The accommodations were perfect for us. It is a simple area that was peaceful and felt private but is also very close to downtown Stoughton and Madison. We will be returning.

Cozy cottage

Spent 2 nights in this tucked away cottage. Deck was well equipped with grill, table and chairs, reclining lawn chairs and a chase. Limited view of Lake Kegonsa but as expected from the photos shown. Frank was a pleasure to work with! Place was spotless! Really enjoyed the kayaking with having access to equipment on the pier. I plan to return!

Wonderful Getaway!

The cabin was exactly what we needed. It had everything we wanted. Very cozy. We were fortunate in the early spring weather in that it was warm and we could sit on the deck in the afternoon and evening. Frank (the owner) is available to supply any information or help that you might need.we will be back!
