My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Anchor Inn. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean! Such a welcoming and comfortable space. And the location is lovely with beautiful landscaping and access to walking paths just out the back gate. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to our few questions. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and hot tub. Very relaxing to come back from a busy day of activity and unwind in the hot tub!Madison is a great city and the Anchor Inn is in a lovely neighborhood just minutes from restaurants, shopping and the downtown area. The next time we come to Madison I hope this space will be available—we would love to stay here again.

The space was perfect - clean, nice size, upgraded spaces. The vibe is very relaxing, with a great outdoor space to unwind. Easy to check-in and host wqs friendly and communicated well. Will definitely stay again when in town.

This is the best rental we have ever stayed in. There were so many thoughtful details, from the numerous outlets to the extra chargers to the throw blankets to the very clear instructions. The place is beautifully and creatively decorated and so very cozy. The setting is lovely with a secluded patio and backyard with mature trees overhead. The neighborhood is quiet and very well-maintained. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. It was a fantastic experience!

Wonderful property with so many thoughtful extra amenities. It felt like a home away from home. The interior and garden design elements added a lot to the uniqueness of the property, which was a real plus for the type of experience we are looking for. Highly recommend!

The host was wonderful and very friendly. Loved getting to know their dogs. The location was perfect - about 10min from downtown, 5 min from a grocery store and easy access to the freeway to go and explore other places of interest. After walking around downtown it was great to come back and relax in the hot tub. I would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful, and peaceful place to stay. You won't even know you are in the city. Very clean and decorated beautifully with all the comforts of home and well stocked with power cords, kitchen essentials, bath supplies and more. Terrific hot tub to unwind in after a busy day and close to many restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. I would highly recommend.

This apartment is very thoughtfully and playfully designed. We loved the cozy fireplace and comfortable amenities. We weren’t able to use the hot tub this time around (our issue, not the host), but it looked awesome. Really a perfect getaway for us. Oh, and the hosts dropped off cookies for us. The best!!

My spouse and I stayed 4 nights in July as I was attending a conference at UW-Madison. The 15-minute drive was not a problem at all, and one of us even walked it one time (80 minutes?). If I had it to do over, I might bring a bicycle, as Madison is so bike friendly and I would have saved tons on parking! :) There was a heat wave the first couple of days, but the A/C kept the apartment cold (I cannot comment on the hot tub 😂). The extra touches were much appreciated -- hotel-style towels and soaps, local coffee beans/grinder, snacks, a few local microbrews in the fridge, so many cute and helpful notes posted all around. We loved that the owners property is a Certified Wildlife Habitat from the National Wildlife Federation! Check out the photos. We also took a morning walk in the adjacent conservation area and enjoyed the beautiful wildflowers. The hosts gave us our space but were quick to answer messages or texts, even allowing me to have an Amazon package delivered (as I had misplaced my clip-on readers and needed to see). Please note that even though the photos show two dogs with the caption "pet friendly," these are the owners dogs and they do not allow your personal pets.

Rachael was very welcoming. The place feels secluded and private, even out in the hot tub. The extra large bath towels are a pro move! Beautiful little retreat right in Madison

Great stay in wonderful space

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting our son who lives in the area. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
