I was born and raised in Japan, a land rich in tradition and beauty. My love for travel and new experiences then took me to Toronto, Canada, where I lived for a few years, embracing the vibrant culture and diverse lifestyles.

The call of adventure led me further to the stunning Riviera Maya in Mexico. There, for 10 years, I worked at a travel agency, which was a dream come true for a travel enthusiast like me. It was an incredible journey, learning about different cultures and meeting people from all walks of life.

For the last 20 years, I've made my home here in California. Raising kids meant changing my travel habits, but my passion for exploring the world never faded. So, I decided to bring the world to me by hosting travelers like you. It's my way of continuing my journey of cultural exchange and discovery.

As a host, I bring with me the spirit of 'Omotenashi,' the Japanese concept of wholeheartedly looking after guests. I'm here to help you experience the best of California, from its stunning landscapes to its rich cultural tapestry.
