Accommodations were very clean. House was perfect for us. Easy check-in and no issues with our stay at all. Host checked in often to ensure we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our stay.
Everything about our home was perfect! So clean, fully equipped with anything you may need or want. Even the beds were as comfortable as home.
Our host was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Canât wait to go back!
We enjoyed our stay at Steve and Ashleyâs home. There was enough space for 10 of us, which I coded two children under 2. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had fun playing the many board games that they had there. It is close to Kingston and other small towns in the Hudson Valley. The hosts were very responsive, and the checkin and check out process was easy.
The house was perfect for our 3 generation family of 11. The bedroom layout worked perfectly for us and the spacious family room and large kitchen table handled our meals and game nights.
The house was beautifully kept and very cozy. We were two families who went up for a weekend away from the city and had a great time. Lots of space and the host was very responsive and communicative. Would definitely come back again.
Our stay truly felt like a retreat. The home is beautiful, clean and spacious. Itâs well laid out for a family gathering. The location is wonderful too - it felt like we really had a getaway to the quiet country, but restaurants and shopping were still convenient and within 20 min. Now that the weekend is over and weâre back in the city weâre already talking about when we might be able to return for another visit.
We booked this house for a gathering of close family and to spend time in this part of the Hudson Valley. The house is in a lovely âruralâ area (I realize âruralâ is relative) with lots of trees and no noise around. As a family of foodies who like to cook, the kitchen was well equipped (it has 2 dishwashers!) with lots of space for a group meal. The location is about 20-30 min from many major tourist sites. Note that the property states it sleeps 12 but there are beds for 10 (5 doubles). You should bring air mattresses/or sleeping bags for the sofa. There were wonderful bath salts in the 3 bathrooms, but no other toiletries, so youâll need to bring shampoo and soap. This is a beautiful, well maintained house, and perfect for a getaway. Iâd stay there again for sure. Thanks Steve and Ashley!
What a cozy set up! As city dwellers, my family and friends and I enjoyed getting out of the city on a gorgeous weekend.
The space felt massive where everybody (10 of us) had private rooms but also could gather in the 4 different common areas: kitchen, dining room, living room, games corner.
The space is super inviting and the kids had a great time playing hide and seek (a less enjoyable game in a small nyc apartment!). The house gets great sun and itâs well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we could hope for, including some less common condiments and spices like sriracha and onion powder. There are a bunch of party games along with blocks and such for the kiddos.
Outside, the property is incredibly inviting with first of spring growth sprouting up everywhere we looked. The kids enjoyed running around and especially loved the tree house!
We spent time walking the streets of New Paltz and checking out the Vanderbilt mansion. Itâs such a cute and historic area! Weâll have to come back for some more antiquing.
Steve was super accommodating annd responsive. He was an excellent host with great local recommendations.
High recommend! Weâre telling all our friends about this hidden gym just 1.5 hours from the city.
A luxury home in the woods of Hudson Valley - We loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay at Maple Ridge Retreat. Steve and Ashley fully renovated this home recently and it is luxurious. The interior looks like it should be in an design magazine - beautiful architecture and design, lots of natural light, and such comfortable living room furniture. The kitchen, dining room area, and bathrooms are also impressive. The home has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths (2 of which are ensuites). And we have never slept on such comfortable mattresses and bedding! We even asked for the mattress details so we can buy them for our own home. Steve was super helpful with all of the arrangements for our stay and was super responsive to any questions we had. If you want to visit the Hudson Valley, treat yourself to a stay at Maple Ridge Retreat. Scott
We had an absolute dream stay at this property. Probably one of the best kitchen experiences I've ever had at a vacation rental property. There were TWO dishwashers. I'm rethinking my life choices now that I've seen the brighter side of life with two dishwashers. It helped immensely because our group loved to cook and there were lots of dishes for 8 people. That being said, we had 8 people there and still felt like the house had tons of space and no one was cramped. Incredible craftsmanship on all of the parts of the house that were remodeled and updated. Bathrooms (3 of them) were incredible. Plus, the location is superb. Up on top of a mountain and it feels secluded but 10-15 min to New Paltz or Kingston for all the cute shops and things to do. We're already planning our trip back!
