Close to Lake Adger, vineyards, and endless outdoor recreation including fishing, hiking, horseback riding/equestrian, and golf. Soak in the home's scenic surroundings while enjoying leisurely outdoor living on the massive, fully screened-in deck featuring a patio sofa, grill, and dining area.

From the vibrant decor to the quirky fixtures, the inviting interior is choc-full of character around every corner. The stainless steel full kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to handle home cooking and comfortable bedrooms ensure a restful sleep each night. Comfortable sofa seating, a smart TV, and board games set the stage for family gatherings in the living room.

Things to Know
-The fireplace is non-operational.
-Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
-Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
-All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
-This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
-All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

Unique, private, and spacious cabin in the woods with many amenities; close to Tryon Equestrian Center as well as Lake Lure!Proper Manger Heidi is very responsive and friendly. Our dogs loved the woods. We will stay here again next summer.

lovely mountain home

Cozy open space with a great deck to hang out in all the while having modern amenities with wi-fi and apple TV. Plenty of kitchen utenils, pots & pans that allowed us to cook full meals (we brought our own seasonings knowing from prior rentals this may be needed). Columbus is less than 10 min away with an AMAZING local brewery (Iron Key) and the Food Lion is close by. Lake Lure is only 15 minutes away with an easy drive as well.

This house was in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what I wanted. Very comfortable accommodations, fully equipped kitchen, and privacy galore. I would definitely book again!

Quick trip to the woods

It was very quiet and relaxing. Bummer that it rained the entire time. But it was till nice to get away. Secluded but not too far away you couldn’t run into town if you needed something. You can see a tiny bit of Mountain View if the weather is nice enough.

8 miles from Tryon

Home is secluded and very quiet. My family felt relaxed and we loved the screened in porch. It is down some winding roads but the area was peaceful. Would book again.

Woodsy Getaway

Beautiful secluded and peaceful setting. If you’re looking to getaway from it all, this is the place. Yet you are only 20 minutes away from Lake Lure, 30 minutes from the Hendersonville area, and the vineyards are within theses distances as well.

Serene home in the woods

My husband & I enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. It’s nestled in the woods with privacy. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch where we enjoyed the gas grill, fire table, comfy patio furniture, and overhead fan. It was a great place to rest and reset. We found the artwork of the home to be a nice touch as well. The home is a short drive from tourist attractions as well. During our stay we explored local trails and horseback riding.

This was our 26th anniversary. The cabin looked nice upon arrival. But then it was all downhill. We booked mainly for the fire pit. Wine and sunset by the fire for our anniversary.The fire pit lit: 2 foot flames out of each end or nothing; stunk! I contacted Vacasa (the rental company for this house; beware!) and was told a tech would be out ASAP.I walked the hardwood floors in my new socks all afternoon. I took them off and the soles were FILTHY! "Sanitized after each guest"? No. The floors had not been cleaned properly in some time for cream colored socks to be totally brown after a few hours. Gross! Other people's feet?!! Nooo. I put my shoes back on until we left.We were going to watch a DVD. No batteries in the remote! We searched every nook and cranny. No batteries on site at all. No movie.We went to play Parcheesi on the deck. No one had cleaned in months. Huge cobwebs everywhere. Then I looked at the rail. There were two discarded false fingernails! EwwNow, as these things were happening I was contacting Vacasa. I got bounced around from local to corporate, and everyone said they'd get someone on it. No one did.Then I got a call that the fire pit couldn't be fixed and they offered 50. It's the main attraction for us! I declined.The bathroom sconces: filled with dead moths! By now we we done. We left a day early. Vacasa thinks ruining our anniversary is worth 75. We disagree. If you see Vacasa, RUN AWAY. Worst service, cleaning, and mgmt!.

Cozy house in Mill Springs

We loved the seclusion and quiet of the well appointed home. Everything was comfy and cozy and dog friendly which was important to us. No stress with every need provided for even the small details like foil and cling wrap. Plenty of glasses and dishes in cute varieties too. Very impressed that there was zero smells or odors- very neutral so nothing to irritate allergies, just clean. Bedding and towels were great. A much better experience than any hotel.

Great location! Quiet! Peaceful!

My wife and I stayed here because we were attending an event at Parker Binns Vineyard, which is just an 8 minute drive. The property is tucked back away from the street and is very private. If you enjoy a peaceful setting with a nice canopy of trees surrounding you, this is perfect for you. Communication from Vacasa was great. We were able to check in early and paid a small nominal fee for late checkout. The house was super clean. The beds were super comfortable. Our first night, we grilled some steaks on the small gas grill, and enjoyed a super quiet evening on the patio by the fire pit. Super easy location via paved roads. The driveway is a gravel driveway but easily navigable. If you have a regular car, not a problem at all. We will definitely be staying here again, as we visit the area frequently. I highly recommend!
