About this space:

Clean and comfortable cottage on the western shore of Lake Whitney in Laguna Park. Located in a peaceful neighborhood bya short 5-min walk to the lake, our cottage is perfect for solo detravelers, couples, or families. It’s a small house but by no means tiny! Our cottage is meant for you to unwind and relax. The space is quirky and so is the neighborhood!

The space:

The Blue Fox is 2br/2ba in approximately 700 sq/Ft. There is ample parking and a wrap around porch. Inside the kitchen and living room are one comfy eclectic space with everything you need. We’ve tried to think of everything from wine tools to wireless chargers. One bedroom is small with bunk beds. But these are like the bunks you had in college. Twin XL and solid oak they sleep adults comfortably. There is a Jack n Jill bathroom that connects to the master bedroom. The master has a luxurious hybrid queen mattress. Attached to the master is another full bathroom with a walk in shower and attached laundry.

We’ve outfitted this cabin with friends and family in mind so we hope you feel that way. We have high thread count cotton sheets & hotel quality towels.

Please message us with any questions. We live close by. We are happy to provide local tips, tours, or rides if available. We love well behaved pets ($25 pet fee). **Kit Cabin** -We have a cabin in the back that is another rental and shares the back parking area.

Nice Place for a Mini-vacation

Stayed there for a couple of days after our wedding. The small kitchen was perfect for just the two of us. The hosts have a website set up as a guide to the cottage and surrounding area. It led us to a swimming and fishing area within a 5 minute walk that was very nice. Scout, the neighborhood dog, was very sweet and followed us on our walk while we were still on the property. We hope to come back and stay again some day. Overall a much better value than a hotel.

Thanksgiving getaway

Clean and comfortable cottage

This property was super clean and the owners welcomed us with an early check-in. Nice! The cottage looks just like the photos and is well supplied with towels and dishes. We also appreciated the convenient laundry room. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood with our dog and the lake views just down the street. We picked up Tower Pizza one evening and recommend it.

We loved everything aspect of our stay. My husband is a hotel person and he was wow'd by the accommodations. It will be our go to everytime we come to town. The host(s) were so nice. Check in/out was so simple. Communication was easy. Booking more dates soon.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Laguna Park is a Texas lake community for sure! We love our neighborhood and describe it as conveniently inconvenient. We're only about 35 min from Waco, an hour from the DFW metroplex, and 15 min from Clifton. However, we have everything we need here. We're blessed to see Lake Whitney year round and would love to share it with you.

There is a marina in the neighborhood with boat launch, slips, and rentals available. There are also several USACE parks nearby, some with free boat launches.

The Blue Fox is such a cute, quirky small home. It's a great space if you're a solo working traveler, couple on a romantic getaway, or a family enjoying the lake. We want this to be your "go back" place!
