Welcome to the Fort Adobe. This is a 3 bedrooms 1 bath ranch home with a large fenced yard. We are very central located in the SE Vancouver. Only 10 mins to PDX airport. Within 5 mins drive to all the medical facilities, Peace Health, Vancouver clinic, Kaiser Permanente. 8 mins to Downtown Vancouver. 18 mins to Downtown Portland. Fully stocked kitchen for your short and mid term staying.
We absolutely loved the house and the location! Kitchen was stocked with everything that we could use if we wanted. Loved the variety of coffee available. Many clean towels and blankets and bed sheets and so forth. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat
I stayed here with a few friends and we had a great experience. We loved the decor and enjoyed relaxing in the backyard area. It had everything we needed and we could tell the host was very thoughtful about what their guests might need for a comfortable stay.
We stayed here for a girls trip. House is clean and comfortable. The house is located in a great area, it's close to lots of shops, restaurants and businesses. Ten minutes from downtown Vancouver. The host was so easy to communicate with, they got back to me quickly when I had some questions. A great space for a getaway! Would stay at this property again.
We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for our family of 6 and the amenities we needed. The outdoor space was a great place to relax after a day out exploring. Would definitely recommend to others!
This was a nice place to stay for a few nights. After spending much of our trip in hotels and bed & breakfasts, it was great to have more room to ourselves. The house is plenty big for a family to have their space. The location is great--near the highway and close enough to local amenities. The beds were comfortable and most of the house very clean.
This place was perfect for us. Fenced in backyard for the pups, spacious living room and bedrooms. The ability to wash clothes is always a bonus. We felt as if we were right at home!
This is a very nice and very clean place. Overall a great place to stay plus very organized. The hosts are very nice and I woukd definetly stay here again.
We stayed at this VRBO for our girls' trip/reunion, and it was amazing! The house had a super cute, clean, modern design, and the beds were so comfy. It had everything we needed for the weekend, including a Keurig, coffee pods, and creamerâbecause letâs be real, life just isnât the same without coffee! ;)
We stayed 2 nights for an early Christmas with family. The house was clean and comfortable. The back yard is a great size and covered patio would be amazing for a summer stay. Beds were comfortable. Location is great but it is on a busy street. We will definitely stay again when we need a place in Vancouver!
This was an amazing stay and I appreciated the atmosphere so much. All 3 bedrooms had very comfy beds, were very clean, and were easy to set up. The bathroom is comfortable, was well stocked, and the large rain showerhead was amazing. Heads up - There is a water pressure/water temperature warning if you go up too high but that wasn't a big problem for us. The kitchen is smaller and well stocked with everything you'd need to make a meal and the coffee station was also stocked with everything you could need. We very much enjoyed our stay and would do so again!
We had a great weekend getaway in this very cute, comfortable, and clean space. We loved that we could bring our dog and the backyard was fully fenced and great for all of us! Our teenager spent a lot of time in the comfy chair on the covered patio. The beds were comfy, the house warm on cold January days, and easy access to Portland and the Moda Center. We would definitely book again!
We enjoyed our three nights at Fort Adobe. The house and facilities are in good condition and very clean. The furnishings are lovely. The washing machine was as good as new. The WiFi is superb.Despite the large road and proximity to the airport, the location is very quiet. We used the house as a base for excursions to Portland's highlights and the surrounding area, and it's great for that. There is a great terrace for when it's warm outside. It's great value for money.Minimal suggestions for improvement:- Night lights would be useful.- Some information about the house would be useful, such as how to deal with garbage, check-out instructions, whether the fireplace in the living room works, and the locking mechanism of the terrace door.
We had a great stay. The room setup was perfect for my family and we appreciated having a washer and dryer to use. This was a great value for the location and the house itself is very cute and decorated very appropriately for the Portland area. The yard and deck was also very nice to have. Itâs a very private yard with the tall trees surrounding you and the patio furniture was very appreciated. There was no long checkout list to follow. The only thing I would note is that Vrbo didnt send us the full check in instructions, so we had to reach out to the host. They responded very quickly and were able to give us the key code immediately. Also just make sure youâre pulling the door torwards you when you lock it!
The house was in a location that allowed us to see what we wanted to see in the area. The host was very quick in responding to any questions and concerns that we had. The photos really sell the house on VRBO. We were disappointed in the appearance of the home when we arrived. It is unkempt on the outside as well as the inside. The inside decor is nice, but not installed well. Curtain rods and towel bars fell off the wall. The patio door lock was broken and the screen in the kitchen window looked like someone had tried to pull it off from the outside. The couch /futon in the living room was broken prior to our arrival. The dining roomchairs are stained and dirty. The lock between the garage and kitchen had a large gap around the fixture. We reported these issues to the host immediately as to not be held responsible for pre existing damage. The host was responsive and offered to have someone come fix the issues. We have stayed in many VRBO properties in the past without issue. Fort Adobe lacked small comforts of home such as an extra roll of toilet paper, paper towel, or kitchen items such as tinfoil, plastic wrap, etc. This was the first time we had stayed anywhere that these things were not available. This was not a deal breaker, just mentioning. The house was a good size for our family of four. Also it was close to the Portland airport and downtown Portland. If in the area, we would not stay here again.
