Really enjoyed Jake's place. Large and roomy with modern features and items throughout, Lots of space for sure - dining area, den, kitchen, etc. Jake was easy to work with, and check in process was simple. Location is close to downtown and easy to get around to where we needed to go. Parking around back was nice, and the courtyard in the back was a nice touch.
House is beautifully renovated. Location is great for visiting downtown. The neighborhood is okay. The daybed area was a bit warm but all other rooms well air conditioned. My family would stay here again.
Close proximity (10 minute drive) to the Louisville Bourbon Trail, Churchill Downs, Costco and more. The property has the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor common areas. We hope to return sooner than later.
My friends and I were in town for the PGA championship. The house was large and functional. The first floor kitchen, dining, living space were great with everything that we needed.
Parking is convenient, check-in and check-out were easy. No extra fees for anything. Very straightforward.
Great communication from the host. The bedrooms all had good beds with new memory foam matresses and individual A/C units. The 3rd floor bedroom may be inconvenient for some and I would worry about that A/C keeping up on a hot summer day.
The direct neighborhood is a bit sketchy. We never had any trouble or saw anything, but it is a bit on the edge. All the same, uber drivers and pizza deliveries got there with no problems. On the plus side, it is very convenient to downtown, I-65, and upcoming new neighborhoods. This area is starting to gentrify.
Great for our boys trip and would be a good homebase for a bourbon tour. I'd stay again.
We rented this place as a central location for a guys Bourbon Trail weekend. It worked out great being only 5 minutes from Main Street and convenient to the highway.
