Lovely Craftsman Beach House in downtown, close to everything!
While staying at this spacious 3 bedroom costal retreat, you will feel right at home. It has been completely remodeled recently with open floor plan and hardwood floors throughout. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a beautiful view of redwoods and darkening shades. Bathroom connected to the master has a double-headed sauna shower. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen size beds. Second bathroom across the hall with a claw foot tub. The fully appointed kitchen is well stocked for all your culinary needs. The main living room has a wood pellet stove and a fun ocean theme loft. Additional den has a smart television and a sofa that makes into a bed. Outdoors, you can enjoy a fire in the fire pit and dinning outside while relaxing on the large private deck. The property is on an acre of land surrounded by redwoods with a creek giving you the feel of the countryside while being in the middle of town. You are an easy walk to breweries, restaurants, and stores. The home is near Azalea Park and one mile from Chetco Point Park and beach access.
My daughter and I stayed for three nights. The space was clean and in a nice location at the end of the street. Would definitely go back and recommend.
My wife and I had a nice stay here. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, the deck was spacious with a view of greenery, and the TV room/den (with large flat-screen) was was bright with large windows, a pleasant place to hang out in. Lots of space and games for kids. Not far from shopping/restaurants. Bonus points for the neighboring rooster that showed up often to defend his territory and tell us what's what.
House feels welcoming as soon as you enter. Everything was exactly as pictured. Well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. So comfortable we didnât want to leave!
The home is gorgeously decorated and was the perfecy accommodation for our family vacation. Our children are in their early 20s and late teens, and this home provided ample space for everyone! I will absolutely stay here again!!!
What a beautiful cozy house. We absolutely loved everything. Can't wait to stay here again. The bed in the master bedroom was like sleeping on a cloud. Spacious rooms. And the tv with games kept the kids busy.
This house worked out great for our Thanksgiving week get away. 9 and 11 year old boys loved the loft and the rest of the house worked perfectly for our family needs. Thanks!
Our group of seven had two teens, three adults, a 5 and 2 year old. The house was amazing for our large age gap. The kids loved playing up in the loft and the Legos upstairs were the best touch, keeping them happy in the morning and evenings before exploring. The teens loved the bonus room with ginormous TV. The game closet had lots of options. The home isnt far from the main road in Brookings making it so simple to get around. We loved the fully stocked kitchen and all the details like cozy socks at the door and lots of extra blankets. We didn't get to spend much time on the deck, but the trees and the way the house lot is set up makes it feel very exclusive. We stayed two nights but I wished we could have spent more and will mark this house as our "go to" every time we are in the area. Thank you for making our stay great
I enjoyed this home , very clean, spacious and perfect location for access to everything!!! I would highly recommend it to future guests. Extra points on the decor too
The house and property was amazing! The kids really enjoyed the loft! The kitchen was well stocked for anything we wanted to make!
10/10 would recommend to everyone!
This house exceeded our expectations and had a lot of extras that made it feel like we were staying at a families home. Being in the middle of town worried me, but when we got there, it felt secluded and the backyard was so beautiful. The beds were spectacular as well and had plenty of extra bedding!
We got there on Friday, drive was rainy and foggy, we ate pizza at Wild River then went back to the house and played board games. Saturday it rained all day. Went to an antique store and the Dollar Tree. But then just stayed in the house, did some reading, played more games our 3boys played legos in the loft. Lots of relaxing. Sunday woke up to clear skies so we got busy and headed to Jedidiah Stare park to explore the Redwoods , visited the light house and then aquarium. We checked out 9:00 Monday, we had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and comfy. Thank you.
We absolutely loved this house! It was so comfortable and we felt so at home during our stay. We had alot of fun just hanging out on the back deck while the kids played on the tree swing. I wish there would have been firewood available for the fire pit, but we didn't stay long enough to ask the property manager for it. The loft and family room was also a huge hit! There are so many games and books here to keep the kids entertained. The home was decorated nicely with some awesome art, and the sauna shower was wonderful. I would definately stay here again!
This property is lovely as is the setting. The home has so much charm and was extremely comfortable for my parents in their late 80s, my sister and I in our 60s, my niece and her husband in their 30s and their children, both under 12. The kids slept in the loft and LOVED it! You can be sure lifetime memories were made! The deck was so great too. The homeowner is warm and welcoming and so easy to work with. Her property manager was fantastic and very interesting to talk to. All in all, it was a perfect place to stay while attending our 4 day reunion. Thanks so much!
The house is beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you may need. The selection of books, especially for kids was a nice surprise and well used and appreciated. The different art materials and games made for a lot of fun for the family. Every comfort we hoped for was there. The neutral smelling laundry and overall lack of strong smells and chemicals had this sensitive family thrilled. The only thing we were slightly disappointed about was the amount of traffic noise from the house, which wasn't really a problem. Checking in and out and communication was very easy.
The place was as described. It was a clean and welcoming. The dual shower was nice same with the clawfoot tub. My children enjoyed the upstairs loft. However if you have little ones you may want to bring something to block access to the ladder. The neighborhood at first seemed a little questionable but the inside of the house was great. The parking is awkward but do-able. Backyard was great and beautiful. I wish there was a curtain covering the sink area. But overall it was a great place and a great stay!
I'm originally from Arkansas and I moved out to the west coast in 1995. I am a nurse in Medford and a mom of two wonderful children. I love hiking, body boarding, river rafting, and roasting marshmallows. I like being a host because I want to share the beauty of this area with those who wish to see it.
I choose this neighborhood because it is quiet, yet close to town. I can get to all of my favorite restaurants by walking. Also, I love being able to walk to Chetco Point Park and the ocean in just 20 minutes.
For me, what stood out about this property was all the trees surrounding the backyard and the large deck in which to enjoy them on. It has been a wonderful home away from home to share with friends and family.
