PLEASE NOTE that Mountain Lodge's interior common areas will be under renovation between March 31 - November 26, 2025. Great balcony view from the unit, we took amazing pictures on Christmas morning. The staff at ML was very helpful and nice. The unit had everything you needed to cook meals. Everyrhing was clean and met our expectations and PM was very responsive.
The condo had everything we needed for a short stay. The village and slopes were just outside the door and a quick walk from the condo. The check in process was a bit more difficult than it should be as there was a long line to the front desk and it was hard to grab a parking spot to unload the car. The condo is a bit dated, but those are minor inconveniences on an overall great stay. Would definitely stay here again.
When solemnly greeted at the front desk we quickly learned we had taken a step back 30 yrs. Outdated everything. The lodge could be so pretty. There is a huge fireplace in the lobby but was told it wasnât cold enough to have a fire âit was 20° outside and their lobby doors were propped open to the outside. We understood that checking in early was unlikely (check in at 5p seems so late to us!). I was told to keep coming to the counter to see if our room was ready because they couldnât text or call us. The lodge closes its accessible bathrooms to guests bc they block them for the ski school kids. No where for guests to change into ski clothes or use the bathroom when arriving early or wanting to ski after check out. We were happy to walk around the village which was fine. We returned around 3p and were surprised our unit was ready. We get checked in and go to our room and my first impression was the unit was old, out dated and smelled just the same. We tried to cook for dinner as we bought groceries. There were two can openers but neither worked. There were no pot holders. There was salt and pepper but that was all. No pizza pan so we improvised and used the top insert from the roasting pan. The bedroom shares a wall with the hallway and has a window which not only is odd but allowed for additional noise from boots clomping in the hall and the arcade just outside the door. Bed wasnât very comfortable.
