This home is your ideal launching pad for year-round fun in Breck!
The Space: Centrally located in Breckenridge, this cozy studio is set up with all the basic comforts you will need during your stay. The home boasts a fantastic central location, placing you just a three-minute drive or 15-minute walk to the Breck gondola and a short walk over to Main Street. The first-floor studio room is small but charming, with sliding doors that lead to a shared courtyard and access to a variety of shared amenities such as a fitness room, on-site laundry facilities, and an outdoor pool and hot tub.
When you arrive at the home, you will find a dorm-style setup in the studio, with a bunk bed featuring a twin XL over a full-size mattress. Right off the front door, you will find many coat hooks and cubbies. This area provides an efficient space to store your outdoor gear without cluttering the room. When you enter the front door, you will also find the full bathroom directly to your right. Freshen up before bed in the bathroom, where you will find a single-sink vanity with extra under-the-sink storage space and a step-in shower with glass doors.
In the open room, you will find floating shelves with a few pieces of basic cookware, a toaster, and a drip coffee maker. On the other side of the room, tucked next to the bunk bed, is a mini-fridge and a microwave, so you can handle light meal prep right in your room.
When you are ready to settle in for the night, the home boasts a comfortable twin XL over full bunk bed. On the wall opposite the bed is a mounted TV, so you can enjoy a movie while you snuggle up in bed and unwind from the day.
The home enjoys a courtyard view and private access to the shared courtyard via a sliding glass door. Out on the shared courtyard, you will find patio tables and chairs, grills, and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Just one of the many great shared amenities guests of the home will have access to during their stay.

Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire home and to one parking place in the shared parking garage. Guests will also have access to a variety of shared amenities such as a courtyard with BBQs, a fitness center, a steam room, and a hot tub.
The Neighborhood: This home is in an incredible location, placing you within walking distance to all that Breck has to offer! Be out on the slopes in no time, with two lifts under a 15-minute walk away. The Snowflake Lift is less than a 10-minute walk away connecting you to the bases of Peaks 7 and 8, and the BreckConnect Gondola is less than a 15-minute walk away, so you can be out your door and on the slopes in mere minutes! Breckenridge Ski Resort is 2.5 miles from home, from which you can access five different peaks, and enjoy the lovely aprés ski restaurants and venues. Breckenridge’s historic Main Street is just 1 mile away where you can enjoy countless shops, restaurants, breweries, galleries, and museums. Enjoy a walk along the Blue River Recreation path that runs parallel to the shops and restaurants of Main Street. If you are a live music fan be sure to check out some live music at Riverwalk Center, in the winter there is indoor heated seating and in the summer you can enjoy the music out on the lawn. In the Summer months, enjoy endless fun at Peak 8's Epic Discovery, where you can ride the alpine slide and roller coaster or play a round of mini golf. Drive scenic Boreas Pass, go troll-hunting for Isak Heartstone, or hit one of the area's many hiking and biking trails - you can truly do it all from this incredible home!
Getting Around: From this well-located studio, you can easily walk to all of the main attractions, ski lifts, eateries, and the bustling Main Street. Main Street is less than a 15-minute walk away, at which you can hop on the free Main Street trolley, a great option for exploring downtown Breckenridge. Or, quickly be up on the ski slopes thanks to the Snowflake Lift, which is located blocks away from the home and will take you to the bases of Peaks 7 and 8. The Breck free ride bus is a convenient option, with the River Mountain Lodge stop on the Gold Express Route just steps from the house. Hop on the bus and find yourself connected to multiple bus routes that can get you anywhere you need to go in this one-of-a-kind town. Uber/Lyft are always available.
Other Things to Note: Please note that, like most homes in Breckenridge, this home does not have A/C.

KEYCARD & PARKING PASS:
Upon check-out, please message us and confirm that the parking pass was left in the kitchen and the keycards were put back in the lockbox. Unfortunately, we are charged for our parking pass, so there is a $50 fee for each one that is not returned.
Please make sure to return the key to the lockbox, if the keys are not returned to the lockbox at check out, it is a 50$ fee.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
The outdoor pool and hot tub are available daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests have access to the indoor facilities, including a fitness center, pool, hot tub, and sauna, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Cozy studio is perfect for 1 or 2 people. We really enjoyed our stay there. My upcoming trip will be the 4th time in this unit. Could use a new humidifier and couple of more blankets, but overall cozy. I love the location of river mountain lodge, I stay there everytime I visit :)

Super small. No kitchen (unless you consider a microwave and toaster oven sitting on a tv table a “kitchen”, no area to sit in the room except on a bunk bed, missing the parking pass which I had to call the Local VR people to no avail - got a pass from the front desk, toaster did not work, shower water turn on was very tough to turn on, low shelf (safety hazard - hit my head on it multiple times) holding plates and cups. Not represented on their website very accurately. Do NOT recommend this property.

This was the worst experience ever. I didn’t even stay at the property it was the size of a closet and no kitchen like it was advertised. No closet space, just a few coat racks. Worst of all they had shelve in the hallway that scraped my head because it’s literally in the only walkway the unit has. LocalVR is the worst host ever, they need to go out of business on the way they treated me. They refused to accommodate me with another property, no refund, no credit. They basically said deal with it even though I sustained an injury at their property the first minutes I enter red the unit. I will never rent or deal with sick scub bags as this host treated me. I don’t know how they are in business. Don’t ever rent from them.
