Nestled in a boulder wonderland at the end of a dirt road, featuring 3 king bedrooms 3 bathrooms. Stunning views of the town of Joshua Tree and the National Park, hot & cold tubs, outdoor daybed, outdoor bar & bbq, fire table, outdoor dining, horseshoes, and hang out spaces. Access to 160 acres of park-like hiking. This is a brand new listing, just as magical as our other property on the same road - the legendary Sweet Rock Ranch (#624692).
The property is in a great location. A few miles from 29 Palms HWY but private and quite. Easy short drive to Joshua Tree NP. We really enjoyed the hot tub after dark, the night sky was amazing. Coffee (supplied by the owners) on the porch watching the sunrise was perfect.
My family and I had an incredible time - the property is one of if not the best rental Iâve ever stayed in. The views and the topography are incredible. Host was fast and pleasant to communicate with. We hope to return!
The property is exactly as advertised, and we had a marvelous stay there. The house itself is lovely, clean, and well-appointed, and the entire property is a magical high desert paradise! There is a lovely hiking trail just off-property, no driving needed to access.John, the host, was a pleasure. He made himself available for any issues (there were none!), and was thoughtful enough to alert us to an astronomical event occurring the night of our arrival!
Three days in a heavenly setting. Sunny but not hot, isolated and yet with Vons down the road for supplies. Very comfortable and a feeling of being at home. Would definitely recommend.
The photos of Boulder Lodge absolutely do not do it justice. As soon as I got out of my car and walked up to the front door, I saw the hot tub next to these enormous boulders and took a deep breath. We spent hours soaking out there under the stars.
Then, we went into the house and were stunned by the views. The sun floods the house through all of the windows and sliding glass doors.
All three bedrooms have extremely comfortable beds with fabulous sheets. The black out shades made it possible to sleep in, if desired, but I highly recommend waking up to watch the sunrise. It was so great to have three bathrooms for our group. Everything was so clean and easily accessible. The kitchen is well appointed, and has everything you need including a generous supply of local Joshua Tree coffee.
Host was very easy to reach and communicate with. He welcomed me, and gave me some helpful reminders at check-in and check-out which I appreciated so much. They also offered fantastic local recommendations.
We cannot wait to go back.
We really liked this unique property. The setting makes you feel remote but youâre close to anything you would need. The property owner is immediately responsive to any issues. Each bedroom is an en-suite. We loved having coffee on the multiple outdoor spaces while watching the sunrise. I would stay here again.
We looked long and hard to find this spot. Longtime residents have called it their favorite spot out here. The boulders, the expansive views, the wildlife, the multiple hangout areas. The silence. . .
We have managed another property (very popular) propery in the area for the past ten years. We took everything we learned from that one to make this place even more special. As we said, the boulders, the views, the wildlife, the multiple hangout spots. The silence...
