Easy, great stay

apartment was pretty spacious, the ski-in/ski-out was great, the pool/hottub were solid, and the check in process was easy. Would recommend!

Perfect

This condo was perfect. It had everything needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The location is great. Easy short walk to the bus stop. And, an easy short walk down the edge of the ski run to the village. I would definitely stay again.

Clean sheets. Loved the robes. Had a lil hose thing to dry boots and gloves which was clutch. Great space. Warm and cozy. Great proximity to Blackcomb

Perfect location for a ski getaway!

Well maintained and well stocked unit. Excellent communication with property management. Love the fireplace and hot tub. Beds are SO comfortable. Lots of towels. Lots of space for ski gear. So nice to have bath robes. Ski in/out is a bonus. Parking is included! Easy walk to Village.

Winter 2018 Trip

The ski in and ski out was a little better than I expected with good access to the Wizard Express chair. Hot tub was a plus after skiing.

Great location, clean, cozy

We stayed here with 8 adults and the place was a great value for our group size, and fit everyone comfortably. The location is amazing for ski in/ski out. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and hot tubs/pool were fantastic. The check-in and out process was incredibly easy. Our only complaint is that we ran out of hot water each day by the time the last few people got to shower. This was always around 4pm, post skiing. If you are staying with a smaller group this shouldn't be a problem, as we could take 5-6 hot afternoon showers before the water went cold. Overall would stay again!

Great place to stay

We loved this property and the unit was just as described. The owner was quick to respond to questions about our reservations so we got to stay another night. Bunk beds in the room with the queen bed in the main bedroom was exactly what we needed. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well equipped with the basics and more to make meals in the unit. vicinity of the property was perfect. Close enough to walk to the upper village where there was plenty of shops, rentals and dining. We really enjoyed our stay and we are already planning our next winter trip back for next year. Thank you!

Very nice ski in/out property

Very clean and well mantained. Property managers are very professional and follow up on your stay since the moment of booking. Bedding and furniture are very comfortable. Our family (2 adults, 3 children) stayed there for 3 nights and we loved it.

Management?

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was there management? We never saw anyone other than other ppl staying at the property, never did figure out how to get into parking garage, lucky for us we had rented a second property that could sleep 12 and we ended up sleeping all 14 of us at the other property rather than split up and make some ppl stay at this place!

Dear Guest, We are not sure where you you stayed but it could not have been at Greystone Lodge. We have front desk staff and a full housekeeping department on site. I personally spoke to several of your companions who seemed to be enjoying the stay. The front desk is operated from 8:30am through to 11am and 3pm through to 6pm daily. Housekeeping is on site from 8am-4:30pm. In addition, strata maintenance is also on site throughout the day. If you have difficulty on site, it was not brought to our attention. The unit you rented can easily sleep 6 individuals and 8 if there are children. Sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. -All the best -Clint Goyette

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a good size for a family of 5. There were some little things that could have made it better. There was almost a musty oder every time we walked in the condo. The door stops were broken, there was no shower caddy or any place to put the soap and shampoo in the small shower. It advertises ski-in ski out, but is so flat, it is more like walk in walk out. But overall it was nice. I would recommend the property but maybe not that particular condo.

Incredibly impressed with the cleanliness, not just typical cleaning but deep cleaning up cabinets and appliances. The check in/out process was simple and easy to follow. It was the perfect location for us to be biking in the mountains and heading into the village with kids.

It was 35C for our time in Whistler and while the fans provided were helpful, my only suggestion is to include air conditioning, even small portable units.

Great Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Greystone during January and the snow was fantastic. The accomodation was equally as good. The location of the lodge is convenient as it’s walking distance to the village or if you are a little tired from a day on the mountain the bus is at the end of the street. The rooms are well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the common facilities (pool and hot tubs) were clean and great to relax in. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

2/10 Horrible

Do not recommend

This unit is ok except .... apparently all units in this building have individual water tanks which are tiny. Unfortunately, we only learned about it after 1 person took a shower and there was NO HOT WATER LEFT for anybody else. This is simply not ok. This is something you would expect in a house, not a multi-family building. And, for a 2br unit with 6 people occupancy this should be WRITTEN IN BIG RED LETTERS at the top of their house rules to warn people that they apparently only have 2 minutes to shower. The manager on the phone was condescending, rude and refused to acknowledge or remediate the issue, telling me that I should simply "wait 2 hours" and then I can shower. Well guess what, if i wait 2 hours that means i CAN'T shower before dinner, which means I CAN'T take a shower in this unit. Also: I don't know why everybody keeps saying that these shuttle buses run "every 10 minutes". They don't, at least not the ones on this route. They may be run every 30 minutes and we've been freezing waiting for them.

I was the manager on the phone with you last night when you threatened to leave a one star review if we did not refund you some money for not disclosing that the unit had a hot water tank. Buildings in Whistler have two options for hot water. One is individual hot water tanks as it is here in Greystone Lodge. Other buildings have boilers that feed all units in the building. Both have positives and negatives. If a boiler goes down then ALL units have no hot water. If a unit with a hot water tank should have an issue, only that unit has a problem. The unit you are currently still in has a tank that holds 40 gallons of hot water. If one person uses all of the water in the tank by taking a long shower, then the tank must refill and heat water up for the next person. I did offer the use of the showers in the common area bathrooms on the first floor of the building as a solution to your immediate need for the shower. With regards to the bus schedule, it can be found online by searching Whistler Wave on Google. The number 5 is the free shuttle bus route. It should be noted that when there is a snowstorm as there has been for the past 3 days that the bus will most likely not be on schedule. Best regards, Clint Goyette @ Acer Vacations

It was a quiet area but the active Villages were easily accessible using the shuttles.
