Safety and Independence are key at this cottage on all-sports Turk Lake with private lake frontage and a 30' dock. This set up allows for a group of people with a wide range of physical abilities to vacation safely and comfortably together. Bring your kayaks or use our rowboat.
The cement circle driveway allows for close and easy parking while providing zero-entry to the cottage. The living room door provides zero-entry to the lakefront deck.
All doorways are 36" wide with and interior doors are sliding barn-style for easy use. The open floorplan eliminates hallways and clear paths are maintained in each room.
The dining area comfortably seats 4 people with sturdy chairs and a drop-leaf table.
The kitchen is also wheelchair accessible. Cabinet bases have pull-out drawers with high toe-kicks and open bases under the sink and cook-top. Counter-top appliances are conveniently located on a rolling cart and include a multi-function oven, microwave oven, and electric grill. The full-size refrigerator has a bottom freezer with pull-out drawers.
The living room comfortably seats 4 with a couch, electric recliner and side chair. An adjustable table, end table and smart tv complete the space.
The master bedroom has an adjustable queen-sized bed, 2 night-stands and a "rolling closet" that can be moved to allow greater wheel-chair mobility.
The second bedroom has two twin beds. One is standard and the other one is a twin-xl sized mattress on an adjustable frame. It also has a 5-drawer dresser and bedside table.
The bathroom has a 5' square roll-in shower with overhead and handheld showerheads, wall sink with tilting mirror & commode area. Grab bars are conveniently located throughout the bathroom.
Outside amenities include the deck with ample seating, firepit with additional seating, sand box/kayak launch at water's edge, 30' dock and charcoal grill. This cottage is located on Front Turk Lake which is an all-sports lake; ideal for boating, water sports and fishing.
Please note that there are surveillance cameras monitoring the entrances to the cottage.
Turk Lake Restaurant & Bar and Turk Lake Market are less than a quarter mile away. The city of Greenville is just 7 miles away and offers multiple stores, restaurants and entertainment options.
