Come to relax and enjoy yourselves on beautiful Wabasis Lake where the fishing, boating and swimming are fun activities. There is a family of eagles that nest nearby and visit the lake often. . Dock space is available for $50 per day by the cottage. Boat Rentals available at Wabasis Lake Park: kayaks, row boats, canoes, tandem kayaks, and paddle boards for rent by hours or the day.
Great property with great views. Great community around the location. Extremely clean and well kept. Would recommend a stay. Nancy's communication was fantastic.
My mother spends the summer here it was nice to have a place to visit close to her to stay at versus a hotel miles away
Nice property clean everything you need is there just bring food and drinks enjoy this little peaceful gem
House and property was perfect for our family that came over for July 4th celebration. We used the kayaks and paddle boat. We had a good vacation and stay.
The view of the lake from the cottage was amazing. I found the cottage well stocked and my guests really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Nancy made herself available as needed. Would definitely return if available.
This lake house property was so delightful. Every sitting area had a view of the lake and nice large deck to enjoy!
Hope we can return soon and do more fishing and kayaking!
We had a wonderful time, reading on the deck, kayaking, paddle boating, playing cornhole, and basketball. Adorable, comfortable accommodations. Wonderful host. Great location. Thank you!
We had an amazing week at the lake house. It is a very nice lake house and nice campground!! Itâs a great place to relax and reset! The community was very inviting and just over all great people, we felt very much at home! We hope others enjoy there stay as much as we did and we hope to return someday.
Its very quiet and sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Greenville is a wonderful town to go on walks and fish the river. We went to relax and dud just that . Thank you Nancy!
The cottage was tidy and neat. The scenery was gorgeous, and we were pleased to learn that there was a paddle boat and 2 kayaks at our disposal! The hostess was very sweet.
This property is paradise. The name does not give it enough credit. If you stay here, you won't want to leave. The view from the porch was so beautiful. I'm proud we got to spend our wedding night here and am so grateful for the experience/memories.
This home has a beautiful view of the lake from the deck. We seen beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Everything was sparkling clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment . We spent a lot of time in the water, either fishing, swimming or using the paddle boat. We also seen alot of wildlife...geese, loons, eagles, rabbits, deer and sand cranes. What a great place to stay for the week!
My group had a delightful time in Nancy's Lake Wabasis abode! The location was absolutely perfect for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to the lake, the availability of kayaks/paddleboat for our use, and the quiet setting. The house is impeccably clean and well laid out.
Our only comment would be to make sure that you plan for the weather accordingly depending on the time of year. We brought some additional fans with us that made a world of difference keeping the air moving in the cottage.
We had a wonderful time, and would definitely consider staying there again!
We enjoyed the view it was beautiful. I do feel the price was high. The cabin does not have central air and it was very hot during our stay. They did have a paddle boat and kayak which was really nice.
this property is located at the end of a campground community. it was perfect for what I needed it for. The lake is beautiful, I did not use the kayaks or paddle boat. There is comfortable parking for 2 large trucks at most. the washer and dryer are coin operated and off site.
I have owned this family property for 37 years. It is a wonderful, relaxing environment to enjoy being together with friends and family. I enjoy being here more each year. I have been retired from my 35 year teaching career for 17 years. I like to explore the internet, including Facebook. I enjoy learning from the many sites available. I especially enjoy reading e-books, watching movies on Netflix and watching Hallmark movies.
This property is 5 acres of large oak trees for plentiful shade and 2 acres with lots of sun. This campground was developed by my parents in 1970. They put in paved streets, underground electric, telephone and water. There are six cottages (two available in the summer of 2022 with the others to be remodeled in future years) and 56 trailer sites. We are a small village! Our tenants stay year after year - up to 50 years! We look forward to our time together in the summer. The main thing I think of when reflecting on my lake property is how relaxed I feel there! It also has history from the l940's. There was the Wabasis Gun Club here for 40+ years. In one cottage they had dancing for the club. I enjoy realizing how much relaxation, entertainment, enjoyment and friendship has been experienced over many years on this property.
Wabasis Lake is the largest lake in Kent County! It is well known for its excellent fishing. There are lots of wildlife to enjoy as one boats around the lake: birds (we have eagles that visit frequently), swans, Canada geese etc. There are inlets to Little Wabasis Lake and to Mud Lake.
