This studio is a 5 minute walk from a grocery store and restaurants. A 10 minute stroll will have you on the Arizona Trail. Downtown Flagstaff is 2 miles away.
You will have your own parking space in our driveway, with a cinder path along the south side of the house leading to the backyard studio. Here you will find a cozy 300 square foot unit including a full kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with shower, and a couch conversion bed for two.
Narrow steps lead into the space, and up to the bathroom. There is a microwave, hot plate, and small convection oven. We also supply ground coffee (with a reusable filter, not a coffee machine), and tea. There is a table, chairs, and WiFi—a great work space.
A fan and open windows provide adequate cooling for those few warm nights of the year. In winter, our studio is heated with an electric infared wall panel.
The apartment is located in the northwest corner of the Sunnyside Neighborhood. The Grand Canyon is an hour and thirty minutes away. The Arizona Snowbowl ski area is only 30 minutes away. You can be on the hiking and biking trails of Mt. Elden and the Dry Lake Hills with a 5 minute bike ride.
The backyard is carpeted with native grasses and wildflowers. There is a sitting bench and a clothesline and sheltered bicycle parking.
This small, neat studio apartment is a great basecamp for exploring the American Southwest.
