Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. West Virginia really is âalmost heavenâ. The Schoolies are located just a few miles from the New River Gorge National Park. The buses are located conveniently off a well maintained gravel road and face beautiful rolling hills with hay and wildflowers in season. Deer frequent the pastures along with a family of foxes and Phil, the groundhog who has chosen it as his home. There are two schoolies if you have more people and need more space. Minimum age 25
Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant!
We surprised our kids (10 and 12) on a road trip with this stop and the look on their faces as we pulled up was worth every penny out there. While we only stayed one night, we made the most of it, playing games on the outside table, cooking dinner and eating as a group of deer made their way into the field near us, and completed the night with smores. An experience we will never forget!
Perfect time away with family! A great unique little spot that had all the comforts of home. I couldnât believe how well the space was sectioned off - and even a large fridge and a 5 burner stove! We enjoyed sitting outside under the pergola for our meals. A wonderful get away! My kids loved playing âbus driverâ to let us in and out of the vehicle. Great experience all around.
